yes. I can’t lie, I’m a little interested myself after finally seeing some games, though I admit, the big ones don’t do shit for me. More so another Dead Rising (though I have yet to play my copy of Dead Rising 2 & expansions :sigh: ), KI3, and a couple other games piqued my interest. But after being burned a bit on the Vita and the Wii U with regards to launching with some shit I want and then sitting there waiting and waiting for more shit I want, I’m just going to wait it out.

Kinect > PS Move shrug honestly, their launch titles look way stronger than Sony’s. Way way stronger, but right now the internet is ablaze due to Sony’s momentum of undercutting M$, so that is in the backseat as people squabble about the price differential and DRM. I have a gut feeling that DRM will lead to future exclusives as well…M$ added that in because developers were bitching about Gamestop and used game sales.
The Launch Titles could be stronger. But what’s the point of launch titles if no one will buy the system at launch to begin with?
Plus KI is made by a dev that has absolutely no quality games to their credit. FilthieRich can’t save a game on his own. DR3 will likely just be a timed exclusive. No one cares about Kinect and Sony isn’t forcing PS Move shit down people’s throat right now.
As for DRM leading to exclusives, the only publishers that would consider that are EA, Ubisoft and Activision. Activision already had favoritism towards Microsoft so it’s nothing new. EA however, while being probably the NUMBER ONE supporter behind DRM, had all of their titles shown at E3 minus 1 being MultiPlatform games. If the PS4 sells better and their games sell better on that console, they’re not going to backtrack to be spiteful.
xbox is still very much the FPS console. you might not think that’s a whole lot, but if they make that their focus, they could still be very successful.
One problem with that. To my knowledge, they have no Exclusive FPS games other than Halo. Unless the ports are outright inferior on the PS4, people aren’t going to get a X1 for the sake of FPS games alone.
Only way they’re going to be able to ride that distinction is if they somehow throw enough money at Activision and EA to convince them to make CoD and Battlefield outright Exclusives.
Welp my 360 had a good run and so did Cod on my console for years…but in about a year I may as well drop LIVE and fly to a future PS4…just need to save and get used to that…controller…
