That Devil’s Advocate stuff is cute when you’re discussing something metaphorical or rhetorical, but this is on some whole other shit.
This is like a bunch of slaves on the plantation debating their desire for freedom from the white man, and then that one ninja pops up talking about, “Massa always treats me good… I don’t know why y’all always talkin’ bad about 'im!”
Reread what I said again and you’ll see that I’m referring to used versions of new releases and not all used games there. I’m also talking about used xbone games possibly always being $55.
that’s incorrect, in 2005 100 thousand people went to see the then horrible 49ers play cardinals in Mexico (at the same time as the u17 world cup mexico vs brazil finals). people care … in Mexico.
Interesting though that Joystiq seems to be reading it as pubs not having the option to opt out of it (so no Cave making region unlocked games so shmup players can import).
Oddly enough, I’m not even sure how this will play out in terms of sales… this system should end up being a worse bomb than CDi… but then you remember how ignorant (and stupid) and shortsighted most people are…
heh, there is something so entertaining about this fiasco. We’re watching a disaster in progress… like the people who were there to see the Hindenburg crash live and in person.
Yeah, but Microsoft still has an E3 to go through and 7 months ahead of them to do something.
They didn’t get to where they are now without powering through some bad decisions and even somehow making them palatable for the masses. The system is hella shitty right now…but they have a lot of time to find ways to make people buy it anyway.
At this point though, Sony has an opening to do something similar to what they did in E3 in '95 where they were able to decisively capitalize on their rivals mistakes.
