Alright so I re did the IMP and everything seemed to have went a lot better…or so I thought.
PS3. buttons would register in Mortal Kombat in the training mode. I could move up and down in MK but couldn’t move or do
attacks until the mode button and the turbo button was turned on.
Xbox360 (SFxT) all punches (All top buttons) worked without anything else pressed. THe kicks wouldn’t work unless turbo was
turned on
Triggers don’t work
When plugged into the xbone the mode light comes on and nothing works
When the turbo button is pressed all kicks go off(street fighter) on controller ‘A’ settings
used the meter and the RT and LT both beep when I test both connections. So if I put the black on the XBpcb(RT) and red on Qpcb(LT) it will sound and visa versa and when they are the same. My triggers will not work though when playing any game.
Also The B buttons copper lifted off…but it was still working. (it poped off the pcb now so I cut a trace and going to solder there).
I think the mortal Kombat thing was just because I was using a stick because blazblue on the ps3 worked without me doing anything at all. I believe the reason the RT and LT wasn’t working was because the USB for the Xbone is causing issue perhaps…I don’t know I am at a lose. Going to redo the usb (3rd time) for the Xbone and redo the B button.
UPDATE: So still doing the whole no kicks unless turbo is pressed on the 360. Something new is happening which is weird. The ps3 function won’t work unless I unplugg the usb from the xbone. I wasn’t doing that before until I redid the usb for the xbone and the b button. RT and LT still not working even though I checked the connection with the meter. I am at a lost right now.
Please excuse my ignorance, first pad hack. Was wondering if someone could point out the X button’s pinout for me. Ripped part of the trace off by accident. Thanks
Yes! I’ve done this with two different XB1 mods and tested them to make sure that it works properly, and that is indeed the correct trace. According to Phreak, you can also cut that trace from the other side of the board, but either should work.
No there is that thick line going down. Scrape a little of the line away to reviel cooper and solder to that. Be super duper careful though when scraping away and super duper careful when soldering to it. I had to do this and it worked fine minus all the other shit that is messing up with my stick at the moment.
I got the b button. Everything’s hooked up when plugged in it just scrolls up and right I believe. And the buttons cycle. Like in button configuration I’ll hit one button while it’s scrolls and each time it’ll be a different one either a b x or y. Even down on the stick registers as a random button.
Anyone had this problem or could link me to fix. Thanks.
