Xbox One PadHack Thread - Calling the goons "Toodles, Gummowned, Phreak and You" Do it for the Kids

AWESOME!

need someone in SoCal to do this asap!

Syncing is not needed neither is IR leds. Battery is not needed.
Simple wired pad hack. Bury it deep in your stick box. All common ground. The triggers I will let gummo talk about to advanced for me right now.

Good work!

If anyone is from the uk(hopefully near London) and confident in doing this please let me know

Anyone in San Diego able to do this, I will provide the pad , xbox 360 te, and $75?

I’m going to wait for TechTalk diagnosis.

I can give it a go, but as said earlier I won’t be able to hack the triggers, just the main buttons and shoulder buttons (so just a six button arcade stick, not eight). Make sure that any games you play do not require 8 buttons for now!

IIRC you happened to have some Dual Strike boards. I will love to know if you think it will be doable a Dual Strike passthrough port to XB1 stick PCB cable when you figure how all of this works.

OK guys, we made our sticks pretty easy but, let’s work on the triggers… any guesses as to the resistance needed?? Same as 360?

Yes if you have dual strike, IMP board, or switch. you can run like a Xbox360 with this, or a PS360+, or a PS4 controller with an Xbone controller

I’m in the process of liberating the PCB. In kleners screens the dpad had the ‘sticker’ removed. Any suggestions on how to remove it? it seems to be really stubborn and I don’t want to damage anything.

Flick up a corner of the clear tape and it will peel off dont worry the metal is just sitting on it nothing is connected. And since NOTHING on the top board is needed. My next one will hack into the 2 headers and get rid of top board.

Dude, why are you so sexual? My body isn’t ready for the sort of information you and Gummo are about to give us!

You mean the whole analog stick? Just desoldering it (wick or soldering pump, or both)

sorry, double post

Got to test on a xbone. Got triggers working in a stand alone setup rather easily. Its when added with other pcbs that is a little bit extra work.

Also tried connecting without the top pcb but it didn’t seem to work.

All these xbone mods are leaving me with a shit ton of AA batteries

Attempting to do this myself, when soldering to the controller PCB should i scrape away the black to expose metal?

Yes. The metal exposed is where you solder.
