@kleners great work man sounds great!
Anyway you can post a pic/diagram of what you do have wired in and responding on the PC? Hell I’d wire up one tonight so I can have a joystick this weekend. All we need is 6 buttons for KI!

Man I wish I was on the team that programmed the plugged in functionality, that shit sounds hella tight.
If there are any doubts about whether the controller works as a wired controller when plugged on, why not go to the source?
Now, whether it will prevent syncing and causing other issues later is another story. Either way, I don’t think tourneys would allow these pads to be used anyway, wired or not.
MANY THANKS MAN!!!
Ok here is the XBONE modded Stick.
The Pad is 100% Common ground.

This is the pinout I have so far for the pin connectors. I prob wont have access to a xbox one for a while so I won’t be able to test out if the main pcb can still function without the second pcb.
This is how I numbered the connector pin's

Thanks gummo. I will have xbox tomorrow noon
Nice job guys. I decided against tearing one apart since my TE2 is on the way.
I could have sworn they talked about the system using USB 3.0 to allow for more headset bandwidth, surprised the front wired port is 2.0.
Rear port is 3.0 right?
Just looked at the pics, it is.
Very weird. Headset info must still be transmitted wirelessly even when powered via front USB.
It aint pretty, but Mad Catz is no dice, so no choice…
It works as far as the Xbox Button turns on my 360, ill find out the rest in 2 hours…

that stick looks S-tier
wow… impressive. are they stickers? the spaceinvaders and pac-man
NO i designed it in photoshop and printed on my photo printer. I have a Chun Li one too, I used to make sticks for 360/ps3 back in the day, and its supposed to have a yellow ball as if the pac is eating a power pellet… get it? I needed a b at for KI later tonight though and I only had red.
Thank you for the compliment! If people really need I can always open up the stick shop again for a while if people need Xb1 sticks.
anxiously awaiting an update before I tear into my controller
update for what? The pinout is listed above, go for it.
Can someone throw out some numbers on how much for 2 hacked XB1 pads shipped?
Thanks thanks
considering the price of the controller is steep… $59.99 it’s gonna be pricey until an alternative comes along.
With shipping I wouldn’t be surprised to see $90-$110 each depending on wiring type… that’s what I am looking at at least… others may be more or less.
Doesn’t all the buttons going thru the pins essentially mean someone could create middle molex pieces that have wires coming out that could go directly to arcade buttons? (Or even a PCB with easy 2 pin molex to QDC wires)
Like this-
I’m still a novice when it comes to this but struggling playing KI with a pad so looking to do this soon
Also, probably a stupid question but, how do you take the pad apart? I don’t see screw holes
