Xbox One PadHack Thread - Calling the goons "Toodles, Gummowned, Phreak and You" Do it for the Kids

1, 2, 7, 11 are just to hold structural post for the left analog.
3, 4, 5, 6 are L3 and R3

12, 13 and 14 is one pot and 8, 9 and 10 is the other pot

You need resistors going from 13 to 12 and 14.

And from 9 going to 10 and 8

Ahh ok thanks. Ya, thats the slagcoin page I was reading but didnā€™t want to mess anything else up so wanted confirmation
So a resistor between 9-10, 9-8, 13-12 and 13-14 right? 4 resistors O_O guess I have shopping to do

itll probably be easier if you can put them back in, snip the tops, and glue gun it centered

Yep

Thank you guys so much. I found some 8.3ohm resistors and they solved the issue!.
Iā€™ll glue the other one centered and leave it on.
This has been a fantastic learning experience

I probably should have come here first. Looks like all of you guys have been putting in work. I got one working but itā€™s not nearly as refined as asiangrafx. Fantastic work by the way. I have a few pics on my blog but they are not as good. I wasnā€™t set up correctly to document.

i just registered because i get my hopes up
i was so happy because i have read that x360 controllers will work so i bought a madcatz Fightstick pro
yeahā€¦
please let there be a way to let me hook it up on KI

Woops, misread the post. Donā€™t game and post ladies and gents, my mistake (ā•Æ_ā•°ā€)

Only hacking a XB1 pad and adding/replacing it in your FS pro.

geez
is there a tutorial atm?

This very thread ;). Read it, the last pages are full of info.

so if i have zero equipment for modding, how much would it cost to mod my fightstick to work on xbox one?? if itā€™s like $150 in equipment i might as well wait and shell out another $50 for the TE2

though this does seem like a fun projectā€¦

so a setup with this PCB + TE V.S + IMPv2 would work?

you can find a soldering iron and everything at radio shack for under $30

yes

Some say, that it involves rubbing yourself with warm pig fat while holding a dremel.

the triggers not working, as i said, is really just a point of concern for those who use more than 6 buttons. also i can understand a sense of it being not complete and thatā€™s fine. my guess is that it takes the same resistors as the xbox360 pad but Iā€™m not going to waste 60 bucks on a pad to find out.

and as i said its easier just to leave the analog cubes on and snip the tips and not bother with resistors etcā€¦ if you have the room inside the joystick who cares, the more stuff you add the more stuff that can go wrong, mrs sup a solder, etc, so why not just leave as much in-tact as possible i say

once someone posts the xbox one triggers done ill do those too for anyone around my area - nassau county long island

six buttons are cool
8 buttons are dick

someone maybe from germany who can explain me how to do it? my english is not the best
im just frustrated wasting 150ā‚¬ on a fucking fight stick that doesnt even work ā€œon the xbox oneā€

Well, i thought the pad was really easy to hack, anyways Iā€™m having an issue where the inputs are going crazy and it shifts between holding down and right. The analog sticks have been left there, anybody know what might be going on? I wired it quite well.

Nvm, I think I wired my sanwa harness wrong

Mounting is a breeze, you can literally drop it in the TE (upside down) and screw it onto the post. You can use the wiring harnesses that came with the TE and just solder onto the points. I spliced the play and charge kit wire and rejoined it to fit it into the wire compartment (I donā€™t have access to a dremel or any power tool to widen the hole).

The pad is not difficult to work with at all. Anyone who wants to do this is going to need t10 and t5 torx screwdrivers to open up the controller. Scratching off the black coating is fairly easy. Use an exacto knife, razor, or precision screw driver and just scrape in small circles. I didnā€™t really have any issues getting solder to stick.
