That castlevania game seems like a really stupid cash in.
I’m one of the few here that are looking forward to Fable 3, but it appears to be going slightly downhill already with the latest news and word of mouth…
Apparently, prolonged magic-use will age your character. Here we go again with the recurring theme of “consequence”. I just hope it doesn’t end up going overboard with this or just looking outright goofy. Also, hopefully there’s a way to cover this up somehow, like certain masks or even anti-aging potions. In any action-rpg, I prefer magical-based combat on my characters. I’ll either go battle/mage mix(ideal, imo) or pure mage. On top of this, the magic is more limited due to the gloves system. Since it is tied to gloves now, this limits things to exactly 3 spell-types apparently…1 spell on the left, 1 on the right and #3 is the combined spell…unless they REALLY fuck this up and make it so 2 different gloves ONLY gives you a combined spell no matter what, which would really be a stupid design-choice. Also, I hear from other folks on the forum that time control is a potion now. Maybe they’re trying to keep the main character from being as godlike as he was in part 2, but you have to question the point of even trying to “balance” out a game where you still can’t die in the first place.
Once again I am wondering how great a Fable game could be if it was handled by another company with a different creative director.
i just finished playing fable 2 a few days ago, that game was absolute trash. incredibly bad controls, the most boring storyline and inifinite town gaurds when you go on a rampage? i enjoyed the spire section, aside that it was yawnsome, and the magic spells were so boring
I hated the aging thing in the first Fable. In a matter of no time, my dude was ugly, scarred, and 100 years old.
Is there anywhere to see a list of Kinect games that will be available by the end of 2010???

Are they still doing that? If so, fuck Fable 3. I don’t expect every game to be God Hand, but I don’t want to play “Baby’s first RPG” either.
Last I heard Peter Molyneux wanted to make F3 even more casual. I don’t mind casual games but if you can’t die, how much simpler can you possibly make it? The game’s also going to be aimed at women this time around (not that there was any Kratos-style manliness in Fable to begin with).
I have no idea what they’re trying to do with F3, but doubt I’m going to like it.
i greatly enjoy how each new fable promises to do stuff they promised in the last one but ultimately scrapped. I’ll buy it cuz i’m an idiot and i bought the first two but i doubt it will even meet expectations considering their track record 
My biggest problem was the complete lack of difficulty, it’s more brain dead than a god of war game.

I complained a lot about Castlevania at first, but I’ve basically been playing it non-stop since it came out. Multi could be better, but it is fun going through the maps with other random players. It is a loot game more than a grind, and way way way more interactive than most MMOs/RPGs.
Damn. Well, they’ll have potions to decrease age. They better. But gameplay wise, I like F2, So, I’d like that system, but would only like to see more combos available when you swordplay. Time control directional DBZ vamp is the shit, and I dunno, it makes me feel awesome when I combo a dude, vamp outta the way of a gunshot from someone else, then start beating up another guy.
I’m waiting on 3 also.

New Split/ Second dlc over the weeks to come. A couple pay to play car packs and a free track in September. Looking foward to it. Stop sleeping on this game.
