XBOX 360 Thread. First page FAQ coming on the 1st of never

Mass effect 2 on insanity was awesome. I felt the begining was much harder than the middle and end. After getting insanity I was 1055/1055 on it. Great game.

Also, I know the first one wasn’t popular here but assassins creed 2 is one of the best games I’ve played this generation. It’s like ac1 was a fraction of what they wanted to do. Ac2 is complete. You can go pretty much any where and play the game however the fuck you want. No more of that “hunt for clues” shit. The mission structure is insanely varied. The music is ambient but sounds great, and the graphics are fucking amazing. Ubisoft put a ton of time and resources into ac2. Y’all are doing yourselves a disservice if you don’t try it. It’s like 30 bucks everywhere I’ve seen it. Check it out, the ratings are justified.

why cant they make a co op fallout? its damn near built for that already. technical difficulties or something? it would be the best game ever

 • don’t tempt me to do a replay yet :stuck_out_tongue: lol

Man, when you have to start fighting the Collectors, shit gets HARD.

the problem with the first AC was that it was WAY too simple. Guards after you? Just hold sprint, and run at something, until you climb really high. You MIGHT get hit by a rock or an arrow, but meh.
Every city, just arrive, climb to an Eagle Dive spot, synch up, then jump off and go to some simple mini quests.
And the jumping puzzles were fucking EASY, if they even existed at all. At least in AC2 you have the assassin’s tomb’s for a nice challenge. I look at some of the jumps involved in Prince of Persia games, then you look at AC where you could literally climb straight up from the ground to the top of a tower, without having to press anything besides UP. No jumping from part to part, no rotating around the tower to find a better route, just plain old holding up.

AC was like a tech demo to show what you COULD do with a game.

Anywho, I really wish they would have supported Shadowrun better. Probably one of the best FPS this gen, too bad they initially charged so much money for an online ONLY game, and then did fuck all to support it (no fixing the get off the map or other glitches, no added characters, types, abilities, etc). And they managed to make teleporting WORK, unlike fucking Bioshit, errrr Shock

The variety and freedom in how you play in ac2 is what makes the first look so incomplete in comparison. They fixed the biggest problem people complained about (the repetitiveness) and created a really cool game where you can do a lot of shit. Even small stuff like upgrading your armor and your home give you a sense of accomplishment. Ezio is a much better character than altair as well. Altair was a prick who got his friends killed. Ezio was somebody who got pulled into the world he’s in now because of corruption. It makes him a sympathetic character we can latch onto. It makes a huge difference.

The world is much more defined as well. There’s actually a color palette used now instead of grey. The tomb puzzles are awesome
and the variety of missions available is great. I think the game has incredible pacing. It flows from each mission and carries the story a lot better than most games. Pacing is always an issue in 90% of the games out there. Ac2 doesn’t have that problem. Nothing lingers or feels tedious. It’s really refreshing. I can’t recommend this game enough.

Xbox 360 Arcade Spring 2010 Bundle + $30 Gift Card $130 at Target:

ah, this recent commentary from RC has made Assassin’s Creed 2 actually sound interesting. Previously, the only thing about the game catching my attention was the visual/design. I’ll check it out one day soon.

I desire something new, even though I’m still in the midst of some serious Modnation Racers (around 70 characters made so far!) and Lost Planet 2 addiction…Alan Wake may be next for me.

It has now been a shave over 1 year since the greatness that is Prototype (*yet another game that was cursed by my love and adoration. Once I like a game, it automatically means everyone else in this pitiful piece of shit world hates it, simply to annoy me of course. Fuck all these chumps, your taste is garbage and the games I like are scientifically proven to be awesome. Maybe I’ll become a Final Fantasy fan one day, just to jinx-kill the shit out of that franchise.)…in commemoration I have to post that 10-Reasons trailer once again: 54_yOqZ6Ieg]YouTube - PROTOTYPE - Official Ten Reasons Trailer [HD Mercer would absolutely demolish most other gaming characters out there. You’d probably have to destroy the entire planet to possibly kill that “thing”.

Million try Red Dead.

And since you have a PS3, try out Infamous (if you can find it on the cheap). I didn’t like prototype. It wasn’t a bad game, but the point I hit just had a bunch of the same missions over and over, and all the weapons beside the whip seemed pointless because whip was so insanely good.

Prototype was quite fun, but the city seemed so AI retarded. Crazy virus fucking up most of the city, and people still casually walking around, even if your dude glides in like a bat from the sky. And shit got repetetive FAST. Shouldn’t have sold for full price.

Try Red Dead Redemption, or Transformers. Probably the best two new games out right now.

Million, ac2 is worth it. You were an art major, right? If so then you will totally dig the atmosphere. I’m probably at something like 30 hours or so. The game is like 25 on amazon. Totally worth it.

Ok, Nintey-Nine Nights 2 is a bit of an asshole. The apparent 2nd “stage” went on FOREVER. It must’ve been close to a damn hour before I made it to the apparent boss…and of course it’s so easy for him to be badass when he just happens to have thousands of underlings backing his punk ass up. The lower-level guys spawn indefinitely…and the spawn points apparently cannot be destroyed. Oh and some of the guys that spawn over and over are archers that can easily hit you while you’re fighting the other 6,000 people…of course…and the boss doesn’t even have to physically hit you to land a hit…of course. (the wind from his punches is enough to catch you, which is actually awesome, imo…reminds me of Toguro from YuYuHakusho.)

Healing potions seem to be quite a rarity as well, and they will only refill a portion of your life energy…yeah, you can’t exactly cruise through this game easily, it seems. Heh, I bet the Fable Hero could destroy all those fools though, with his hilariously overpowered self…(I can never forget that character; it was the most fun overpowered main character I’ve played besides Alex Mercer from Prototype.) The specials look cool though…one of which gave me 2 fire swords which did some nice damage on that boss and everyone else for a short time.

The instruction manual is also one of the laziest manuals I’ve ever seen. It’s only 4 pages of the most basic info(controls, “How to” and “Game Screen” sections and that’s it.). Page 5 is the warranty info…and from there it’s a repeat of the previous basic info in another language. I probably should’ve waited until this hit the 19.99 price-point. I was just hungry for something new here.

Got 1k on the game and even downloaded the DLC, GOTY 2009 imo.

The greatness of Crackdown 2 will be available sooner than we think.

SKILLS FOR KILLS AGENT SKILLS FOR KILLS

Crackdown was fun but it was the orb hunting that made up the core of the game, everything else like the story, open world, shooting, driving, etc was meh.

heh, The Agency Voice still makes me laugh…and it reminded me of the Colonel from Metal Gear Solid, only a bit on the crazy side. I remember one quote where I wasn’t doing anything and there were some enemies in the distance…it was quiet for awhile then he abruptly yelled “ARE YOU SCARED?!”. Classic…or how 'bout I’m coming up from the water by an underpass/sewer kind of area, and he says “I CAN SEE MY HOUSE FROM HERE.”

here’s a video review of Ninety Nine Nights 2: (since hardly anyone out there reviewed it…that’s always a bit odd and possibly suspicious when the game “sneaks” out with no reviews.)

I loved the first one but you need to read a few reviews for the second one. The game sucks man. They let us down.

Yeah, crackdown 2 is a letdown. I still get the stupid announcer problems too. I HATED in the 1st one how he would congratulate me or yell at me for doing NOTHING…jump 3 feet onto a sidewalk and he’d be all like “GREAT JOB Agent!!!” Or warn you about criminals above, but not until u actually already look up at them.

Controls are still ass too.

Man singularity is a great game. VERY GOOD. I suggestanyone in to fps pick it up.

Basically its a mix of fps in one

Bio shock story
COD:MWF2 story/gameplay
L4D2 multiplayer

I suggest checking it out.

Don’t know if anyone is bothered about the game (personally I’m not) but I got a beta code for Kayne & Lynch 2 and uploaded the footage from the story mode to my YouTube channel.

Seems a bit better than the first. Number one was my first co-op game for the Xbox but I just couldn’t get into it. I can see this being something I pick up from the bargain bin a year after it’s release.

The multiplayer modes seem really promising though. I’ll be uploading footage of them sometime this week.

^ That looks pretty bad ass. I love the camera motion.
