Been on an rpg spree lately. Played a ton of Fallout 3, finished the missions in ff13, and about to pop in mass effect 2. My girlfriend put in Fallout 3 one day when I was gone and she has been hooked. Any co-op games to play with my girl? I was thinking borderlands, but I can’t think of anything else.

Yeah I would never do that. Not with Mass Effect. I still haven’t touched 2 despite it sitting near my xbox for a couple of months now simply because I haven’t gotten my character to level 60 in the first ME. With reactions I received from my brother about the plot twists in the game I can’t see how one could possibly enjoy 2 on it’s own.
I use to have an X360 and already 100% ME1 when it first came out. I’ve decided to pick up another X360 since my first one got sold. I also read ME: Revelations. The two books that were released. 
You do know that your level does NOT carry over to ME2; you only get an EXP bonus when you start, capped at like level 5 or so.
Don’t you get a ton of resources for your ship though with the amount depending on what level range you are in?
Not that it truely matters as farming is easy enough.
I thought you were awarded special gear for having either level 50 or level 60 when you start ME2. I read that over and over again man!
You get 10 skill points to spend and you start at level 6 with a ton of money and resources. Did that so I could have an easier time on insanity, since starting an insanity run at high level is suicide because of the level scaling. [media=youtube]xeh5MD86AiU[/media]
If you plan to play on normal in ME2, there’s no REAL reason to power level to 60 in 1. The difference is like 1 or 2 bonus levels in 2. You get NO special gear or the like. You get bonus Paragon/Renegade points if you played 1 as well.
In short, PLAY MASS EFFECT 2.

I beat the game today. And I’m surprised at the powerful voice-over cast behind this game. Martin Sheen, Michael Dorn, and Carrie-Ann Moss especially.
Mass effect 2 on insanity was awesome. I felt the begining was much harder than the middle and end. After getting insanity I was 1055/1055 on it. Great game.
Also, I know the first one wasn’t popular here but assassins creed 2 is one of the best games I’ve played this generation. It’s like ac1 was a fraction of what they wanted to do. Ac2 is complete. You can go pretty much any where and play the game however the fuck you want. No more of that “hunt for clues” shit. The mission structure is insanely varied. The music is ambient but sounds great, and the graphics are fucking amazing. Ubisoft put a ton of time and resources into ac2. Y’all are doing yourselves a disservice if you don’t try it. It’s like 30 bucks everywhere I’ve seen it. Check it out, the ratings are justified.
