^Not that long ago actually.
I think that I’m gonna buy snoopy. It’s like Crimson Skies with Snoopy.

Hard Corps: Rising
the spiritual sequel to Contra: Hard Corps aka the second best run n’ gun game on Genesis and my second favorite Contra title.
I’m only bummed that they might do downloadable characters (aka they will) but if they fucking have BROWNEY… I’m gonna lose it.
Record of Agarest War. Anyone end up playing this enough to give me a good idea? I’m gonna look through some reviews but would like an SRK response
I ran across it when I was out at the mall today. Almost bought it when I saw that it was an S-RPG. Been missing that genre for a while now, especially on 360.
It’s good, bosses are freakin hard(don’t play on hard mode unless you are amazing at SRPGs), has some aesthetic issues like the battle flow feels slow and awkward though the system itself is interesting. One of the cool aspects is that the game takes place over multiple generations, so your 2nd hero is the previous hero’s son.
my xbox just stopped turning on out of the blue…this would happen right before evo smh
any ideas on how to fix this?
Really? I’m bummed that it comes out so late (Winter 2010).
I wonder if there’s gonna be another Summer of Arcade.
I’ve just become aware of a video called “Dragon Age: The Sacred Ashes”; why are the visual concepts shown in this video so drastically different from the final product? Was there ever any reason from Bioware?
Do you play with friends offline or Solo? Trying to figure out if this is a fun game to play solo since I don’t have people who come over to play.
^I stopped playing since i got it. I too need friends, but the bullshit with Indie games is that you need to be online to play any of them. I really want Microsoft to fix that because even if I bring my hard drive over it’s a pain to get it authorized for a different console.
the article is a few days old, but http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3179615 I was curious about the status of Joy Ride… I’m wondering if they went back to the drawing board on that, since Modnation over on That Other System? defined a new level of kart-racing supremacy. Perhaps they realize they cannot compete with that, not even with JR being released initially “free”. Then again, I’ve also seen that it will be a Natal launch title? Aye, get outta here with that, MS. I still just want regular control in my games…especially on something like a kart racer. (ah, here we go: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=249663 )
I finally got back to some Lost Planet 2 earlier today…mainly to go ahead and hit level 40 with the Snow Pirate Elite character… I realize I’m probably way behind everyone else on that. Level 40 unlocks the “Sea Dog” costume parts for that character…it’s old-style deep-sea diving gear inspired, so it reminds me of a “Big Daddy” look from Bioshock. I kept the helmet with the trenchcoat from another style though.
I do play with friends offline often enough but I play solo a lot more though and its still very fun. I’m sure the spawn count is less on Solo anyways so MP isn’t really needed, just makes the game more hectic.
I’m still thinking about trying the other two difficulty settings on Solo…
You aren’t. I’m gonna get back into working on my factions once the update drops for the 360. Lots of games this summer and now I have to grind in Metal Gear?
Video games feel like a damn job sometimes.
with the grind-heavy(but still incredibly fun) Lost Planet 2 and Modnation Racers in my collection now, it’s going to be much more difficult to get caught up on ANYTHING. Oh yeah, Super Street Fighter 4 is STILL sitting here in the plastic shrink-wrap. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing hasn’t been touched either. On top of all this, Alan Wake finally came out and I have to get that probably some time this week…and there’s STILL some fun to be had with Bayonetta(*so far; the best action game of the year, imo.). This era of gaming has easily been the most enjoyable for me. Not even the classic 16-bit era can compete with all this.
Anyone gettin that Earthworm Jim remake? downloading it as I type!
I’m more curious about the netcode for NGBC. Anyone try it yet?
yeah, I might have to pre-order Crackdown 2. I forgot the details but I am sure there’s some pre-order bonus they were advertising at ol’ gamestop.
oh yeah, Spiderman 2099 is in there: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2010-spider-man-shattered/101009
Noir Spidey still looks like the coolest version of him I have ever seen. They could make a whole game about that particular version, and I’d buy it.
I just noticed a BEYBLADE trailer for Nintendo W*…you cannot be serious with that. They’re a few years late on that, aren’t they? I haven’t even seen anything related to that franchise in the past 7 or 8 years.
haha, remember that one SRK dude “Ganj the Fire Tiger”?
Ohhhhh I could never forget that. Those were some good times. I would make him into a character for Modnation on that other system?, but only srk folks would get the joke.
Checking the NGBC thread, everyone seems to say the netcode is really good and that SNK has finally done it.
I haven’t tried it myself(online anyways), so I’m relying on SRK’s opinion.
Holy FUCK I want that Spider-Man game right now.
Million- I’m surprised you haven’t made HadoukenFan for ModNation.
