It’s all over, people.
Fox about to fuck up Deadpool too… Abandon ship, all hope is lost.

Except he left over disagreements with Ryan Reynolds…
You gonna blame the golden boy Ryan Reynolds for the director abandoning ship.
It’s ok. They’ll just get Bryan singer to direct Deadpool. It’s all good. lol.
Don’t worry fam, Gavin Hood already contacted to fill the role. =)
Even if the 2nd Deadpool film gets fucked up, no matter how badly they fail, they still can’t change that the first film was awesome.
No one gonna fuck up Ryan Reynolds’ vision. I’m sure that dude has personal katanas.
Finally got around to seeing this. It was decent.
Shout out to them showing my hometown on the tv when the nukes were launching. Home to the most powerful nukes.
And I didn’t know tab soda was real. Just saw that shit at the store.
So all these years, you thought the Code Monkeys theme song was pulling shit out of its ass?
Huh?
WTF? Tab soda, a niche Coca-Cola product, has been around for decades.
It’s diet only buy the way. As far as diet sodas go, it’s pretty decent. Has an above-average caffeine content though.
Age of Apocalypse isn’t really that bad. Just sort of mediocre.
There are so many directions to go.

you cant tell a story like that in one movie.

In Back to the Future, Marty asks for a Tab. Then asks for a Pepsi Free. 2 different product placements?

Age of Apocalypse was pretty decent overall but, could have been much better. I can understand them not having the time to properly do the comic justice but, as for as the movie-verse flicks go, they could’ve done a lot more with it.
So many characters could have gotten more development. Instead of focusing on just Magneto. And Apocalypse himself was cool but, not exactly done justice also. He died a little TOO easily actually. That final battle seemed a bit rushed.
Felt like there could have been a lot more content here originally but, they didn’t want to split it into two movies and, just grabbed what they thought were the best parts and wrapped it up.
There’s no movie called “Age of Apocalypse”, you know.
I’m not sure if Logan movie will be in continuity, but I expect/would like a “Days of Future Past” approach. For what it seems in the synopsis, the mutants were exterminated by Essex Corporation, which directly ties in with what we saw in X-Men Apocalypse.
I hope the next movies will continue on with a grown-up X-23 discovering Cable who could also be created by Essex/Mister Sinister and they both could have a time travel thing to go to Deadpool’s present and stop Mister Sinister before it.
I think they could simply introduce Cable in Deadpool 2 and give vague hints on his origin and later have X-23 and Cable teaming up with Deadpool and others in X-Force to stop Essex and prevent the Logan dark future from happening.
I guess X-men: Premature Ejaculation: or X-men: Countdown to Oblivion were taken already. Sigh.
Normally, I’m the first one to make a new thread for an x-film but the signs for this movie are ominous that Ive been dragging my feet on this.
One would think Fox would see the decline n XMA’s profits as a sign to take their time with the mainline series.
Editorials (mostly) aside, here are some updates/rumors:
2)Two of the stunt men from Mad Max: Fury Road are taking the lead on the action sequences for X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
We've assumed for months that X-Men: Dark Phoenix would be going cosmic as the comic story opens the door for The Shi'ar Empire and other cosmic characters from the X-Men franchise to make their debut
We've been collecting various audition tapes for both Fox's X-Men: The New Mutants (Growing Pains) and X-Men: Dark Phoenix (Teen Spirit). The most recent revealing indie actor Josh Higgins (Hellion)

‘Halt and Catch Fire’s Toby Huss Auditions For ‘Dark Phoenix’; Role Hinting To...
From the dialogue, Im getting an Erik the Red vibe , but this is Fox so who knows?
At the tail-end of April, Omega Underground uncovered a string of potential X-Men: Dark Phoenix audition tapes labelled Teen Spirit (film's working title). The biggest one to catch our attention was f
We didn't even know that X-Men: Dark Phoenix has started the casting process, but a new report reveals that one of the movie's stars has been forced to drop out months before shooting begins.
It’s gonna be a mess, but I’ll still watch it. It’s the X-Men! And now with aliens and space adventure.
I’m more hopeful about the New Mutants movie, though.

Most of the fox X-Men movies have been good. The only truly bad one was X-Men Origins Wolverine. Although i still enjoy that one as a stupid, popcorn flick. It had good ideas, good cast…but the Script was total shiat.
With this Phoenix movie i highly doubt they’ll be going full shi’ar empire, M’Krann Crystal, etc, etc, with this one.
Even though most of the Fox movies were pretty damn good, they’re actual “scope” was never that vast. So i’m sure they’ll find a way to ground the story on earth.

“Good”, yeah… well, decent… but some of them have been underwhelming, specially Apocalypse when it came after DoFP and it wasn’t half as good…
