It is remarkable how bloody the movie is actually. I mean Magneto killing lots of people isn’t new, but at the start people were squashed by falling rocks and stuff and telekinetically twisted into pretzels. And of course Wolverine taking out all the base guards

That said, in the unlikely chance that it ever happens, there’s literally nothing stopping the MCU from recasting Fassbender as Magneto, McAvoy as Professor X, or any other other actors that previously played the character as that character again beyond the actor just not wanting to do it and, I guess, the time-line since both Professor X and Magneto should be old as fuck in 2016.
You know, nothing’s impossible, McAvoy and Fassbender could simply renegotiate their contracts. Or have Mystique in a very small role. Or film her and then delete all their scenes in the editing room XD
