im starting to think they have a plan to go back to marvel in like 6 years but they wanna bomb every major x storyline on purpose first.
I just saw X-men Apoc, itâs not a horrible movie but not a good one either. Itâs pretty much a bucket of CG being thrown at you with rehashing of some âcoolâ things that people liked in DOTFP. I recommend that you just wait for it to hit online or watch it in a very cheap theater⌠some people did like it thoughâŚ
I have not kept up with the comics, but is Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver still retconned from being Magsâ kids?

(FOX purposely bombing all of the most well-known X-Men storylines both just to be spiteful and continue being able to use the brand wouldnât surprise me if it turned out to be true.)
That said, the entire truth is probably even sadder in that they legitimately likely donât have a goddamn clue what makes a good movie in general, much less what actually translates well on-screen, especially if they keep hiring people who donât even really like the comics in the first place to be involved with the story and directing of these movies. For the most part, theyâve only really gotten casting correct, at least as far as acting ability goes, but that less says about FOX and more about the caliber of actors and other people involved. I mean, as much as Ivan Ooze Apocalypse is beginning to wear on me as well, in part because he really does quite âsoftâ compared to the 90s FOX version of all things, I can only blame Oscar Isaac for so much, especially since I doubt heâs the one who rejected the more authentic-looking Apocalypse costume for starters.
Sigh. I hate FOX nowadays.

I currently donât remember the reason behind it, if there was one given that movie is rather anathema to reason and logic, but Iâm pretty sure that Johnnyâs father shows up as a scientist somewhere within the perpetual gloom of that movie and Johnnyâs father is black like him rather than white.
