X-men: Dark Phoenix: (June 7,2019)

Except for of course the ones that were like cryogenically frozen for 20 years or something.

lol yeah that too.

(The link you gave doesn’t work, @Hawkingbird.)

That said, if what you say is true, then that just lends more credence to my thought that they were essentially just using the X-Men Evolution storyline for Apocalypse. I have to wonder if that means that if Jennifer Lawrence hadn’t become so self-important and power-hungry if they would have also made Mystique the fourth Horseman over Psylocke given in Evolution it was Storm, Magneto, Xavier, and Mystique that got nabbed by Apocalypse.

I mean, I doubt it would have saved the movie, but it makes one think.

What.

The worst part about this is that I can believe this actually happened given studios have already shown and still show that they’re willing to cut out seemingly vital stuff just to save time as with Daredevil and far more recently Batman v Superman respectively. Granted, some of that is almost always the director’s fault and a lot of the time, in the case of the latter movie or First Class, still wouldn’t “save” the movie.

I’m gonna post this here because I don’t want to bump the Fan4stic thread. Simon Kinberg says Fox wants to make another FF movie with the Fan4stic cast and make it brighter and more fun

Fox hates money and all of us.

Unless I see Apocalypse blowing shit up and then Gambit jumping off a plane and crashing it into Apocalypse’s face while saying “The name’s Gambit, remember it!” this movie is a fraud.

It’s official, Fox would rather die than ever give up any of their rights.

Kinberg probably talks the most out of his ass of all the Fox crew.

I honestly dont know how he gets all the plum assignments considering he co-wrote X3, FF 2015, and a string of mediocre/passable action films.
I guess being a producer means you get to write whatever you want lol.

His only good work was DOFP, and even then the story credit is shared between him, Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman.

I’m starting to see that. Last year Rupert Murdoch blamed Fan4stic for Fox losing revenue that year. I doubt Fox as whole would want to fund the sequel to the film that bleed money from them.

Kinberg working overtime to get on my "WILL GO TO JAIL FOR DROPKICKING THEM IN THE FACE" list.

(I can’t say I’m surprised if true.)

Like I said before, FOX is immune to logic and common sense. At the very least, I could see them trying to keep the Fantastic Four rights purely out of spite since it sure as fuck wouldn’t be because of success.

Well MBJ at least knows better and went over to Marvel.

I can’t imagine any of the cast of FF has any interest in coming back for a sequel.

Which of the Storm siblings was adopted?

The X-Men might be going to space in the next movie

Fox… Please stop. Stop it now.

so basically their gonna try and take every storyline that should probably have 2 movies…and cram them all down to 1 movies and watch people cry as their favorite things die?

Yay to Singer’s fucking up the Shi’ar.

Going into space and limbo is one of the things X-men do with some frequency though.
