I personally thought Days of Future Past was the best X-Men movie. It’s one of my favorite comic movies actually.
I think the only ones that are really bad are X3 and Wolverine Origins. Although it’s been so long since I’ve seen the first two that I couldn’t give a real opinion on them. I remember liking X2 though.
Yeah I was legitimately surprised at DoFP, I don’t see it mentioned much but I enjoyed it. It was a shame the majority of the future cast was mute and Wolverine was the time traveler but eh it was fine.
Other than that X2 and First Class are okay, X1 hasn’t aged to well personally and X3 is a mess of a film.
Both First Class and DoFP were below average movies full of plotholes and nonsensical storytelling that people just brushed off because it wasn’t X Men 3 bad.
The same can be said of every X-Men movie honestly. 
Like what? It’s been a while since I’ve seen either but I don’t remember there being any glaring plot holes outside of standard time travel bullshit. But if you care about the X-Men comics you should be used to that.
Glaring plot holes and retcons due to shifting writers being the norm doesn’t suddenly excuse them. Let’s not even get into the Xorn bullshit.
Plot holes because of time travel isn’t just an X-Men thing. It’s in pretty much any time travel story. I prefer to look at it like the film Looper. It basically says to not worry about it and enjoy the movie.
What are some other plot holes in the recent X-Men movies though?

JLaw’s blue tits in First Class were nice.
Other then that, movie is meh. Fassneto is awesome and all, but my boy Cyke will never get the respect he deserves in these movies so I don’t really care about them anymore.
Someone just get Singer of these fucking movies so we can get something new. And give FF back to Marvel.
Not gonna lie, Cyke doesn’t deserve much respect anyway outside of MvC2.
(Yeah, I don’t know why people are acting like Cyclops getting fucked over is suddenly new when that’s been happening to him literally since Wolverine was introduced and started becoming popular.)
I too would like to know what exactly was a “plot-hole” in Days of Future Past aside from the weirdness of Magneto being in solitary for apparently about 10 years & still being sane(-ish) and them conspicuously not taking Pietro Peter with them to Paris given how powerful he is.

Yeah I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t just execute Magneto since keeping him in prison seems to be extremely difficult.
As for the Quicksilver thing, maybe he just didn’t want to go? I don’t know about that one either.
The time skip is worse than tekken

Film’s producer said that Pyslocke originally wasn’t in the film. Xavier was suppose to be the fourth horsemen.
