There are elements of Peter’s character I do find unrelatable. Like how many supermodel type girlfriends he easily manages to get for the type of nerd he’s suppose to be. Being an inventor himself I always found it odd how he never tried to cash in on his stuff when money issues is a reoccurring element with him. You best friends with the F4 and Iron Man. How the fuck are you broke all the time?
Parker clearly has depression and body dysmorphia rolls eyes. I mean it has to be some kind of psychological shit where he always thinks he’s getting the short end of the stick when in truth has an insane amount of potential.
But recent trends suggest (in the comics at least) that they’re changing this dynamic, and giving that “relatable hero” role to Miles Morales instead.
I mean it’s better than Parker being underachieving because of… reasons and stuff…
