I doubt the rights for deadpool movies are independent of the general x-men films.
When Marvel got DD rights back, it was appox 7-8 years since the Elektra movie came out.
The netflix show can use both freely, so its probably a grouping by franchise, not individual characters.
and since Deadpool debuted in New Mutants/Xforce…

The Wolverine films have been a mess, too… so I think I’d prefer seeing a team anyway.
