I hope so id love an entire reboot of Xmen. Xmen needs to be more violent and sexy imo.
As much as it would be great for us, there’s no way in hell Fox is giving up that free money to start another reboot. At that point they really would just sell shit back to Marvel.
Wasn’t the point of Days of Future’s Past to give the films a fresh start? MCU is too established now to fit mutants in if they want to make a deal with Marvel.

Actually technically DoFP is. It just pushed the actual reboot to the end of the movie rather than at the start of it.
Yeah. Giving Marvel more creative control like the Sony Spider-man deal would be great, but shoehorning mutants into mainline MCU at this point kinda sounds like a headache.
Edit: As tight of a ship Marvel Studios created, I’m positive that they have backup plans to integrate all the IPs other studios have rights to.

Charles Xavier was one of the first ones, and he predicted a big surge of mutants after the atomic tests from WWII, but he was censored by the Government in an attempt to lavish their image. The effects would start around these ages, with generation of X-gen bearers reaching their puberty… And now, mutant kids popping up everywhere, Xavier has already taking under his wing five of them: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Angel, Beast…

considering the sony-marvel deal was a seen by fans as a “reasonable” decision to reconcile the IPs, having mutants is a piece of cake as inhumans have already been introduced via AoS. the defenders mini-series is gonna be hype imo, daredevil netflix has taken the first step in the right direction and i hope the other mini-series will follow suit.

Can’t believe it since I was always asking for more super hero films when I was a kid since there was only Burton’s Batman, but now I’m asking for less.

I think it will be a good movie but i doubt it will save the x-men from all the shit fox did with them. I think it will be wolverine-centered still, i think most of the characters announced will have small roles, and i think there will still be continuity errors.
- It’s a reboot.
- Wolverine’s not even confirmed to appear in this movie.
- Who cares about continuity errors, just enjoy the fucking movie, you should be used to by this moment.
