finally watched Avengers AoU yesterday and it was satisfyingly epic for the geek in me. fox and bryan singer are trying toooo hard right now. looking forward to Avengers Infinity War even though itās years away. the scene with thanos slipping on the glove gave me goosebumps and made me want to dig out my infinity gauntlet trade paperback for a good weekend read.
iām down with new x-men films but this social media circus is becoming ridiculous. wonder if the movie will even turn out to be better than shit this time.

is it fair to say that marvel has a full on disneyland-sized media vehicle? theyāve made mad bank in the last couple years so you know it works and will continue in that format imo.
the fact that the marvel logo still shows up in the spiderman and x-men films keeps the some of the uninformed audience spending their money and watching films that somewhat butcher the source material.
