Apparently one of the comments left on the event hubs page translated one of her buffs to “crescent scythe hit box is larger”. I guess that’s the same thing you were saying then.
“Rage Trigger causes opponent to fly further to the side” either means you’ll reach the corner faster with it, or they made it so opponents won’t fall out of it when used as mid-screen AA? Hopefully both.
Yeah it might be a buff so they don’t fall out as often and make it easier to DHC off of. They didn’t mention anything about the super travelling farther horizontally, but more knockback would be all you need so that she doesn’t run behind them like she’s trying to outrace them anymore. For now I always DHC/XF it early just incase.

I do like the CS for extra damage during BNBs though. Weapon X Prime looks like the freeze starts up faster now which she’s going to need that to get through all the lame out in the new game. Didn’t really go into the rage trigger mashing for extra damage or anything or her supposed charged ankle slice buff.
Well he more so distributed the X-23 info in his assist me series. It was actual X-23 players that provided all the content. He wasn’t the one playing X-23 in any of the gameplay footage either AFAIK.
Like when you hear him talk in every segment except for the combo section, those are all my words. It’s his show so he’s the one that relays the words but it’s basically me telling people how to play X-23 through his voice. Heh. I don’t really like to bring that up because I didn’t really mind and it was more for a common goal than anything else. I just wanted a general populace of people to know how X-23’s gameplay works and any way to get that out to a wider audience I had no problem helping in.
The X-23 Assist Me is more or less a simpler, higher quality version of my video tutorial with MoFro’s combos. I believe the same thing was done with the Jill tutorial because I’m pretty sure he didn’t know much about Jill at all.
I just welcomed Max’s efforts because I knew he would show the way X-23 should be played to a much wider audience of people than what my vids would be able to and you can’t really argue how effective his work is.
I see, and that’s right he did get some good resources from the X23 players on this forum. I was simply under the impression that he played a bit of X23 to know what her basics were.
Yeah he did say he played X-23 a bit and started learning her through the info we gave him and what not but I doubt he ever really ventured into her for a long period of time. He’s too busy for that any way.
In Maximilian’s hyper mashing video, X-23’s Rage Trigger does about 49k more damage. Of course, that’s raw and not scaled. Still, a 20% increase is quite a bit.
That means raw I believe it does 10k more damage than what WxP does raw in Vanilla. I guess we’ll have to see.
I’m trying to figure out what will be better in Ultimate if X-23 needs to do a standard DHC into Dante. Rage Trigger in million dollars wasn’t really the best DHC because you couldn’t get the last set of hits of rage trigger and still land million dollars. Hopefully the spinning flyback after WxP remains the same and we can still combo into Devil Trigger for DHC and then hit them for a while and go into Doom for the finish. A bigger health character like Captain America or Hulk I’ll probably reset to try to build the level 3 for dirt nap, but against a low health like Zero or Magneto that you need to just get out of there…probably just gonna spend the meters and get them out.

Essentially, I’m just repeating my youtube comment on that video, but it would be really damn sad if her damage output would decrease even more. However, I also have my suspicions about it because there are a bunch of unnecessary hits in there.
Regarldess, my typical MH MFC into two loop reps has a high chance of ceasing to exist.
Hopefully with some time in the lab new good combos can emerge. I wonder if she can even loop CS into L TA in the corner.
Wow…even Sex 23 got hit with his stun nerfs outside of XF? This HSD thing must have just been some universal thing they just slapped the fuck on everybody and it just effects everyone in different ways. Her infinite is useless because you can TOD the entire cast easily in level 2 or 3 XF without the infinite and you have to land a move with terrible start up raw to get it to work. Felicia’s XF2/3 infinite is completely better because she can start it off a s.L and the reps happen much quicker. X-23 could only do that infinite in level 2 XF or above any ways so I don’t know why they talked in the video like she used to be able to do it in XF1.
Long as my s.H x 3 MFC bnb is the same I’m good to go. It’s like they’re almost forcing people to learn MFC. LOL.
The bigger thing this forces overall is resets to build meter for her level 3. She’s totally going to have to come up with resets and build meters for the dirt nap now. Playing her for 700k damage combos and trying to get characters out of there with one meter supers doesn’t sound worth it anymore especially with DHC glitch gone. This pretty much confirms that I will be playing X-23 first in Ultimate so she can have access to two good assists (jam session for people trying to lame out+guaranteed dirt naps and plasma beam for everything else).
Oh, the vid was basically a combo test for X-23 on Ultimate. Histun decay hit her pretty bad it seems lol. I’m hoping the guy was just adding unnecessary hits to the combos.
X-23 had loops like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JigSXAQYt7w&feature=related that built up meter really well and did optimal damage. She had optimal damaging combos from basic relaunchers(with assists) but with the new hitstun decay, I’m worried they won’t exist.
I’m not too worried about her damage. My old meterless BnB was doing 468k. I’m theoryfighting it a bit but my new one should do about 430-440k after including crescent scythe.
It’s not just damage too, but also meter gain and how it’d affect her MFC combos and exist extensions. But, you know what, fuck it, like everyone else is saying, resets all round for X-23 this time then.
