I really need to work on my Rog/Gief matchups… jumping into lariats repeatedly, feels bad man. Whatever, though. Both the people I lost to are above my level, so, I’m not too disappointed. Great event as always, hopefully my stick execution will be better by the next one :X
And SF x Tekken does seem gimmicky. It’s probably just because they showed Ryu doing bnb Super combos in seemingly an identical engine, though. I just hope they calm down a bit with all the fighting games coming out so the genre doesn’t get over-saturated again. Have they shown/talked about the Tekken engine version yet? Like, do the SF characters still have projectiles?
I already beat the game so I had no more use for it. $7.98 for a new $40 game isn’t bad. Plus I don’t wanna wait around for a deal I wanna play that shit NOW!!! Lol

6 hour drive to that MN tourney… what do you guys think?
Looking at the tournament schedule, we’d almost have to get a hotel room; most of the Capcom fighters start at 5pm-7pm (SSF4 starts at 7pm) and if there’s any sort of turnout combined with the 6 hour drive home, there’s no way I can stay up all that time to drive.
If it’s starting that late, Milwaukee is gonna have to spend the night up there. I’m expecting the turnout to be huge, and won’t be ending until 1am or something.
I can’t go I have to stay home and be a family man.
I really want to go. If I could get a ride from someone that would be nice as i dont have a car. I can also help pay for the hotel room. Somone who would be willing plz send me a PM.

For all the newer WI players, a bunch of the old-schoolers in here used to goto Season’s Beating in Columbus, OH. I drove my Honda Odyssey and got the hotel room, everyone riding simply paid me gas and hotel $$$. Let me talk to my wife about it and we could probably just do the same setup again for the MN tourney; my van seats 6 total comfortably, 7 total with asses touching in the back row.
EDIT: This is all I did back when I was active (Driver for OH tourneys, IL tourneys, IA tourneys). It’s cool.

I’m going to minnesota for gng championships. There will be a lot of people there but not just for ssf4. I’d say if u play all the fps games that they’re running tournys for it’ll make up for being there for long periods of time. Hopefully milwaukee can roll deep up to gng championship. I would car pool but were staying at my wifes sisters place plus my car is only a 4 seater so there would be no room. Arsenal try n make this shit happen. I’ve told the minnesota ppl u came out of “retirement” to play 3s again n now u got ppl playing it in milwaukee now. They have good comp there since that’s the only game they like to play up there.
