those look awesome. I can only get one and I can’t decide between type n and astro layout. anyone have any recommendations? I have never used any of them that’s why I want to try it.
I prefer the standard Astro. I like the standard cabinet layout since I have a few in my arcade. It makes going between them all very easy
yeah, from what I’ve seen people prefer the astro one. at least here they do. now I can’t decide between eight or six. I prefer six but I don’t want those extra cables making more noise than the te2 already does.
@“Jasen Hicks” I was about to order the six button astro layout and it said that the panel is eight buttons and only the acrylic is six, is that a mistake?
@“Jasen Hicks” for the TE2 Noir 6 button, are the panels set up so that there would be no room for the extra two buttons or is it all one panel and our plexi comes with only 6 cut?
also: I suck and was waiting to put in the TE2 with the VLX panel and now they’re gone =( is there any chance of another batch?
The 8 and 6 button metal panels are the same, the plexi is cut so that either all 8 or only 6 buttons are available as the artwork insert will cover the undesirable buttons.

The VLX Panels are gone until I return from deployment (except those blemished ones). I am putting the printer in layup on 1 May when I close down so I wont be able to do any more artwork for them or even have them finished before the shop officially shuts down for deployment preps.
sounds good. Are there by chance any VLX blemished Segas left over? only thing showing on your shop is the hitbox.
Just checked. I have 4 HitBox Blemished and 1 Sega 8 button Blemished left. Good thing I did too… I had to update my numbers
i grabbed the Sega and a Noir TE2 =) can’t wait.
A couple fun “ads” that a fellow SRK team mate helped with while I am scrambling to finish everything! Thanks @hibachifinal
Don’t miss out on getting something because I have to deploy and close down for a bit. This is going to be a long shut down with a quick stint back at EVO.

Will you be doing another run of the VLX turbo panel in 1-2 months time?
No, I’ll be closed starting 1 May.
Ah ok, do you have any in stock now? Your site says yes but want to just make sure.
Yup, sure do.
really great that you offer a hitbox layout for the te2

Just to make sure, the TE2 replacement panels will work on the TE2+?
Also, if I replace the TE2+ panel with a Hitbox replacement panel, would I have also install an SOCD cleaner? I do not know if the TE2+ PCB board has a SOCD. I also can not test one because I have not bought one yet.
I doubt the TE2+ has any SOCD cleaning in the code.
As for the panel, I’m 99% sure they are the same. I have to crack my TE2 open to check.
Just got my box of goodies from Jasen today.
- VLX replacement Aux panel: Simple, but it works. Still waiting on my 19mm buttons to come in the mail, and gotta get around to ordering a Cherry rocker switch. And find a 4-pin and a 7-pin JST plug (I’m sure I have some… somewhere).
- VLX EZ Mod kit: I don’t even have a Brooks UFB yet and this thing is awesome as-is already.
- VLX replacement panel (Astro P1 6-button), blemished: Holy crap, THIS is a blemished panel?!? Took me a while to actually find a scratch. This could’ve really sold as a regular panel just fine, but I know Jasen holds his work/products to really high standards, so that really goes to show the quality behind his stuff.
None of these are going into my VLX at the moment (still missing a bunch of parts anyways), but I’m glad to have gotten them right before Jasen’s deployment.
Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words.

Where is the placement of the joystick hole on the these replacement panels (Type-N in particular) in relationship to the placement of the joystick hole on the stock MCZ Vewlix panels? I’m curious to learn of the Y, X, or both X&Y axis placement of the mount is identical to that of stock.
Additionally, is it possible to get an underside viewing of the panels? And will there be an option to instead include a 35mm joystick hole over the standard 24mm, to allow for Korean joysticks to be mounted.
Thanks
can i ask where/how you’re printing them? i ordered a scratched panel for my VLX which didn’t have the option for the art and i have no idea where to get some made
