The PFS2 boards are finally being built. It was a painful experience getting these done, far more than any other design I have done and these aren’t the most complex set of PCBs to come out of my lab either. Was it worth it? Absolutely! These new sticks are freaking awesome. I have a stack of them sitting in the lab ready to ship once the boards are finished. I can’t wait to see what you do with them when they arrive!
New Candy Cab panel production has steadied out and the new epoxy based overlays are awesome. Now, the overlays are printed directly onto all of the panels for an awesome durable finish that can’t be matched! Check them out here: http://www.jasenscustoms.com/Control-Panels_c_11.html
Last but not least, the MK30 ADCAP has gotten some tech refreshes for 2015. I made a video to highlight everything and show it off. Check it out below! A big shout to @undamned for working with me and allowing me to tweak the UD-USB to make it a drop in installation with the ADCAP. I have 50 UD-USB converters specifically designed for ADCAP being built as we speak. Mid November you can purchase an ADCAP with USB ports and play your favorite JAMMA boards with your favorite PS3/XBox360 USB controllers. I have more surprises coming for ADCAP as well, so don’t think I’m close to done
@Feargus001100 - I’ll get back to you shortly. It’s been a busy couple of days
To ensure the Panzer Fight Stick 2.0 users have the best possible tools available for their kit, I have been working hard behind the scenes on a nice Kaimana Khameleon WebKit for you guys! This website will generate a nice package based on your inputs to upload to your Kaimana Khameleon that is installed inside your new case! It handles the most of the heavy lifting customization for button colors, setting up LED order, and animation timing settings. For 95% of you this is the only thing you will ever need to use when tweaking your Panzer Fight Stick 2.0 Kaimana Khameleon. For the remaining 5% of you it will generate the basics and create a nice springboard for further customization since the main Kaimana Code is left mostly in tact.
Please note: This only works with Panzer Fight Stick 2.0’s System of Systems since the LEDs are setup differently than the Kaimana-Js. Once I introduce a HITBOX layout for the PFS2.0 I will modify this to support that layout as well since the main program code is slightly different.
Ready to check it out? Remember its in BETA mode still so if something doesn’t quite work right or you find a misspelling or grammar problem on a page, let me know via PM.
After much waiting, I am finally getting the new Hori VLX Panels ready for order. I am almost done with the main part of the design and am soliciting inputs/votes for the layout I should focus on for round one. Please take a look below and cast your vote! Right now it seems neck and neck between the curved Sega Player 2 Layout and the 6 button modified Sega Player 1 Layout.
Final cost of the panels will be $50 each and I will have custom printed/laminated/cut artwork available for purchase as well.
PFS2 Update: Internal Boards are on their way to me as we speak. What does this mean? I should be getting orders flowing out the door next week, I presume Friday after Thanksgiving. I am so happy that this day is almost here. It’s time to start working some additional panel options for the 2.0
Not looking to start adding inventory at this point with a lot of panels. So far my experiences with one off panels is that they end up costing me a lot of money to get setup and done, a lot of risk, and very little purchases. I can’t operate that way and continue to create new things.
I remember this sucked for you with the panzers, unless a customer is fine assuming all development costs too.
Change one single hole and a metal work shop charges you like it was a whole new design, that includes making a new cad file (and they chagre alot for this) and new development costs.
Ready to get started on that custom artwork for your Hori VLX Pro Arcade Stick? Demo panel is getting made and I will be taking orders for it and custom artwork once I verify fit. Its never too late to start working on your panel art!
For some reason, I had no idea you do prints for SE casings (only saw on Facebook today).
Might need to hit you up for one sometime soon, once I come up with some decent art.
