www.JasensCustoms.com - Panzer Fight Sticks, ADCAP SuperGuns, EZ MODs, and more!

  1. Bigger cases.
  2. More individual metal parts that have to be manufactured.
  3. More vendors involved to get the parts manufactured.
  4. Everything is done in the US

For the amount of work that goes into each case (plus all of the R&D time required to get them ready for market) they are priced appropriately. Keep in mind that I net little actual profit with these (by design) because I want them to be as low cost as possible. The original Panzers were also priced well below what they should have been.

Oh and @VirusHunter - In case you didnt see: http://www.jasenscustoms.com/Panzer-Fight-Stick-20-Artwork_p_62.html

Thanks for uploading the template. Two things tho…
First I think you have the 24mm button holes and the input holes on the wrong side of the template!
Second, about that logo on the stay out area…is this going to be pressed into the metal itself like an indentation or is it going to be something like that logo used in your promotional photos? Just need to know for my design to see if I can incorporate it in there…

This is why you don’t Photoshop after your scheduled bed time  I will get that updated today. The overall dimensions and cutout for the middle section should be OK to start with though. Thanks for pointing it out. I would have been disappointed finding this out as I tried to apply the first art piece on my own stick!

The stay out area will have the JCC gator head logo similar to the promo photos, without the text. Printed directly onto the case.

I think the template should be good to go. My internet was fixed finally (gardner my land lord hires cut right through the Verizon fiber to the house) and dropbox should have synced it up properly

Fibre cable 0, gardener 1

Any possibility of a plexy top as an option on the new Panzer? Screw-down like the Wide is what I’m thinking.

No, there is no hardware on the top to support plexi.

Yes, obviously, but would that be something you’d consider as a design change going forward, possibly for additional cost?

From what I understand from most metal shops that is a “whole new CAD design” even though it just modifiying a existing one, which means some four or six extra wholes would cost as much as developing the new Panzer in the first place.

Darksakul hit the nail on the head here. With the way the 2.0 has been designed, the new panels/pcbs to change layouts quickly gets more expensive having to add an additional plexi that doesn’t serve much purpose when coupled with the laminated vinyl artwork I make available for the sticks. Additionally, its another variable to manage here while I was trying to minimize the amount of different inventory needed to keep on hand for the new stick. When every panel rolls out for the 2.0 there will be 5 different options available Vewlix(6/8)/Noir(6/8)/Hitbox.

I remembered from the guy before me who wanted a Neo Geo Layout on a OG Panzer and how much he spent not including the cost of the case to get the thing made.
And they didn’t add anything to the design, it was the 8 button hole Vewlix layout with the Kick buttons omitted.

Its Easier and cheaper for everyone just to go with a 6 button layout and button plug the K2 and K3 holes.

Oh @“Jasen Hicks” Is the Power Supply your carrying now is a different model than you did before ? and Does this fit your older Super Guns?

Same power supply as always, good Happ Pro Power 130W. All of the SuperGuns are designed around that one

PreOrders for a PFS in whatever color combo you want ends this week. Don’t be upset because you can’t get that special color combo you have wanted all year while I was deployed!
Panzer Fight Stick 2.0 here.

Also remember you can enter to win a free PFS2 during the promotion I am running to help spread the word about the new system. So far over 300 entries! The odds are pretty good still and you get more entries when your buddies enter as well.

Finally found the time to order my PFS2.0 last night. And by time i mean money lol. Now begins the excited impatient waiting period!!!

I can’t believe its been 15 days since I have provided any sort of updates, notes, etc! It’s been wicked busy here with parts/pieces/things arriving every day for the Panzer 2.0 production so it may seem quiet, but a lot of stuff is going on. I promise!

This past weekend I was at SCR2015 where I got to meet a lot of cool people face to face, talk with friends from Tech Talk, and just hang out with some cool guys playing 3S. Myself, @Vicko, @Gummo, and @jdm714 shared a booth at SCR where they modded and I just sat back and watched others play 3S for hours on end using one of my SuperGuns. It was pretty great.

First up, the booth. I had an ADCAP and Panzer setup with 3S running:

We managed to find a minute to snap a TechTalk picture:

I found a dude wearing @jonyfraze “Fight” Shirt:

I bought another Hori HRAP V4 and immediately modded it with Sanwa Parts and JCC/Gator Colors, thanks to Arcade Shock.

But you don’t care about any of that… right? Here’s a few new offerings:

The pre-orders are all being built as we speak and the internal PCBs final test (which happened way later than I planned) is this weekend. The first two prototypes weren’t quite right so I’m pushing up against the clock as I get the third fleshed out.

Looks like you are working harder than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest. Good stuff!

Thanks @PlayDoh003 - I appreciate the kind words. I’m definitely trying to make up for 6 months as rapidly as possible

Jasen,

Do you sell just the case? If so how much would it be?

The case and system of systems is $279.95. Right now I have them out of stock while I get through the pre-orders and catch up on PCB manufacturing.
