Just in time for the holidays, I finished up 5 SuperGuns in the last week. Here are 4 right before they were packed up last night for shipment! The HORI VLX Sega 2P 1L8B Layout is now available for pre-order! I received the test panel today and its a great fit. I can’t wait to print custom artwork when its finished so I can update my own VLX with it!

To cut down on metal costs and mount the JLF at the right height, I use a 1/4" acrylic spacer on the joystick mounts.

Time and QTY are the enemy of other sticks my friend. I’m taking a risk doing a minimum run of 10 of these. I hear that AMP may be getting back into business early next year. Custom panels for most commercial sticks was his gig, I don’t want to infringe.

No prob jasen. Just do what you do! I’m studying to be a welder, so I have an idea how time consuming metal working can be and it can be pricey too.

What I would love is a stick enclosure in metal or molded from plastic that can use the TAITO and SEGA panels that you already sell. So basically, a VLX type shell, but full size. This would be great for us that already have a cabinet, and can use our spare panels instead of having them stowed away.

I have two Sega metal panels I’d love to put in some type of enclosure as well. A two player stick would be cool, but a stick that you can put on a Sega 1 or 2 player panel on would be godlike. Plus @“Jasen Hicks” you’d sell more of the Sega panel recreations in the process of offering that too. Think of all those people who hunt down HSS-0130 sticks. They’d be able to get a metal base even better than that rarity. I can’t imagine what the costs would be since I do no metal working stuff, and I can imagine it wouldn’t be cheap, but would be amazing.

@FreedomGundam made one but he used an original panel. I know who you’re talking about though and can’t remember the name.

I’d be down for one, was actually making my art for the 8 button one but my heart told me 6 button or nothing. =)
