PRE-ORDER PERIOD OPEN 11.28 - 12.15
Today’s serious gamers want a custom joystick to play their favorite games. You know the Panzer Fight Stick and the quality it represents. Jasen’s Customs is kicking it up a notch with a limited edition Panzer Fight Stick Korean Edition Stick. All of the toughness you expect from a Panzer and the feel of the Myoungshun Fanta lever combined into one sick piece of hardware. Pre Order yours today for shipment by Christmas. This is a limited engagment only. Once the window closes, that’s it!

The Panzer Fight Stick: Korean Edition

It’s a completely custom joystick case ready to be populated with the best of the best. It was designed from the ground up with only the best parts in mind! The all steel construction is thick sturdy material, way more durable than plastic and a much better feel. You know it’s quality from the minute you touch it.

The powdercoat is scratch resistant and strong. Sweaty hands? No problems! Rough play, it can handle that too!

Stick makers everywhere have been making sticks that work with the SANWA JLF or Seimitsu LS series levers. If you wanted a build based around the fabled Myoungshun Fanta, you had to go to a big company and settle or import one from Korea. Not any more! I’ve combined the Panzer Fight Stick with the fantastic Korean Myoungshun Fanta lever and created the PFS:KE.

The base price ($149.95) is for a case only (screws, nuts, washers, and low profile feet standard). It shows up ready for you to build it out. I have 10 KEs that will be available for purchase as ready to use sticks ($319.95)

Details of the Construction and Part Compatibility:

14 Gauge Cold Rolled Steel Construction
Powdercoated finish - Black Sandtex Top over a Graphite Sandtex Bottom
Low profile Rubber Feet
Vewlix Style Layout in 6 or 8 buttons.
Neutrik (RJ-45 or USB) cutouts
Myoungshun Fanta Lever
SANWA/SEIMITSU 30mm action buttons (snap in)
SANWA/SEIMITSU 24mm accessory buttons on the side (snap in)
Stand Offs for the Popular PS360+ Multi-System PCB
Dimensions: 13.5" x 9" x 2.4"
Weight: Approximately 8lbs.

Building it yourself? Check www.eTToki.com or www.ParadiseArcadeShop.com for Fantas and buttons!

Details about the artwork:

Printed right on the case using high quality inks that will last a lifetime.
Designed to show of the cases Korean influence as well as the Panzer Name
Does the stick look over engineered? Well, that’s because it is. It was designed to look and feel good while being strong and and virtually indestructable. Hit it with hammer… you might dent it a little bit. Hit the competitor’s stick with hammer and watch it shatter. You feel the quality when you pick this stick up and know it’s going to last.

Pre Order Period Details

The pre-order period will be open 11.28 - 12.15 only. I will only be doing a single run of these cases! Don’t miss out.

Once the time is up, all cases will go to manufacturing for shipment around Christmas. Once you order your case or stick, you are locked in. There are no returns on these cases.

Shipping Policy

Each stick is shipped in it’s own box for $19.95 (USA ONLY). This may be USPS Priority Mail if you are close (i.e. east of the Mississippi River) or Parcel Select for the West Coast. International buyers, please contact me for a quote prior to shipment.

I will always try to save you on shipping!

The black santex over graphite sandtex looks great.

@PresidentCamacho‌ - Thanks! It’s one of my favorites.

Already sold a number of the complete on arrival sticks. Don’t wait too long or the color combination you want (ball top / buttons) may not be available. I only brought back two of each color lever

I’m going to order a regular panzer with that color combo eventually (thinking tax refund time at this point), I’m not super into Korean sticks.

That stick looks insane Jasen. I also like that you went with Sanwa instead of Crown for the buttons.

Here’s a couple of cool things…

First up another Panzer. This artwork is only on the top, no sides wrap down. Simple. Clean.

Atomiswave inspired Panzer. Sorry for the low quality iPhone picture.

Next up is the MK1 MOD0 All-In-One SuperGun Prototype. There is some more work to be done on this but its shaping up to be a good quality entry level SuperGun. I wanted to show it off so that you could see that I don’t sit still and will be brining even more cool stuff to the scene in 2015.

The Touhou Panzer reminds me a lot of Bonkler’s custom stick, one of the first projects to interest me in the peripherals. He made his own LED buttons and fading circuit, way cool.

I had that same image dog-eared for a possible future project.

The MK1 MOD0 looks rather interesting. Almost eurorack form-factor.

@deserada‌ Thanks! As with most art / idea it was sent over by the customer. Its very possible he got the idea from that link (I’m not a huge anime/manga guy so I didn’t know what the source for the characters were.)

The MK1 MOD0 layout was sort of “happenstance” I just wanted to make things fit on the board in a comfortable layout. As comfortable as possible I suppose. I have some ideas on how I want to upgrade it and change it. I had a bit of a come to jesus moment this morning as I was forcing my self to wake up.

So what’s the connectors on the left of the MK1 MOD0? Looks like 4-pin power, Micomsoft RGB, S-Video, composite, and L/R audio?

You hit it right on the head. I wanted to make this an efficient yet capable introductory model. As I mentioned above, its a prototype (functioning 90% as intended) and there will be some changes coming before its officially released.

Jasen

Hey Jasen, what do you think about having a header for the Raspberry Pi GPIO so you can have a portable MAME/Supergun implementation? Just throwing an idea around.

JR,

Check out Project Kajitsu @ www.freecade.org

You can plop one of those boards on top the RPi and use the GPIOs for input into PiPlay. Im going to be doing some testing on MAME with the Pi. We’re working some cool things for FREECADE with this. It may bleed over into jasenscustoms.com at some point ;-D

Jasen

I had seen that over there some time ago and it looks great. I was onto more of an input towards the pi’s GPIO, this way you could use the PI as an emulator and connect the different controllers/sticks without using the USB ports.

Keep up the great work!

If you really wanted to pull some cost out of it you could do board-mounted pots, replace the composite A/V with a 3.5mm 4-pin TRRS jack, and eliminate S-Video entirely (anybody use S-Video these days?). On-board RGB->component transcoding too spendy for this?

Remember… prototype. This is a little jury rigged because I didnt have a few parts. As far as cost of the parts… i buy so much of them, some of them aren’t as expensive as you’d think. Component requires far more components and engineering/testing that would drive the cost way up.

Jasen

Look what new toy from Jasen’s Customs I got in the mail yesterday.

A small smattering of some more awesome Customs coming to the site. These (formerly) Sanwa White Ball Tops were test subjects of a couple interesting patterns. The Army Digital Camouflage will be one of 3 specialty ball tops that will help raise money for Wounded Warriors.
