www.JasensCustoms.com - Panzer Fight Sticks, ADCAP SuperGuns, EZ MODs, and more!

Hey Jasen, do you sell or know where they sell the plexi that goes over the move list on arcade cabs? Not sure if they are all the same size either but looking for one to match the size of your 2p Sega Lindbergh sized panel.

thanks

Are those Korean sticks using studs that have been relocated to 50x75mm or are they a 50x75/40x84 combo mount?

I have a great Plexi guy that can do them now. I can check on the price. I typically dont make them though, so this would be a bit of a custom one-off thing. Since I have a bunch of stuff to get made up there wont be a job setup fee.

They aren’t using studs. They use standoffs, so you can screw a machine screw into them. The Myoungshin body doesn’t leave much room for fastening a nut without gouging up the plastic. They are placed in the 50x75 posistions. The 40x84 would support the 303-N which already fits in the standard Panzer.

So am I understanding this correctly?

How would I then bypass the resistors if I installed it into an actual cabinet or just wanted to use speakers?
Also one other thing, if the arcade board (MVS in this case) has volume potentiometer on it would I turn that all the way up and let the resistors crank the volume down or all the way down to avoid hum?

Amusingly enough, I think the IL Magnetic and Eurostick would fit that 50x75 w/ 35 center setup, but they are probably too deep at ~60mm. What’s the internal height between the underside of the top and the top of the bottom panel anyways?

@TRiXWoN‌ - You wouldnt be able to with this circuit. It could be done with a slightly more complex circuit that used some bypass jumpers though. Path of least resistance concept.

  • The middle pins in this drawing are actually meant for a SPDT switch. Your drawing is exactly correct on how it works. I suppose you could just solder in some .100 headers there and use a simple jumper as well. it would work just as well, and probably save a bit of money.

For the volume pot, it depends on where you tap the audio. If you tap it before the volume slider, it wont do anything. If you do it after the volume slider it will have an effect. You can use it to adjust the output to your liking. I haven’t messed with the volume pots much on any of my boards, I presume they are all cranked way up

The KE is a 2.5" case. I have to double check that though. I can’t remember if I was able to slim it down to 2.25"

Jasen

Thanks, I was just making sure that I was seeing it right.
What pitch are the headers? I was looking for Molex KK housings and headers but I’m not sure which to get. I have some .100 I think they were just pins though no actual housings.

Those are all .100 pitch.

This circuit is a bit different than the one I sent you (that included the parts). I also realized after I posted this, I left one small GND portion disconnected (I didnt finish the bottom ground pour). So if you want to get some of these made, there will need to be a small change anyways. I already did it, just need to reupload the file.

Jasen

Any chance you could post a basic 3-view dimensional drawing of the various Panzers? A 3-view on your web site would be tremendously useful I think.

Hi there, do you still do custom graphics for Atrox covers on request?

Example: I give you the design, pay, and then you print the design on glossy paper with the cutouts etc and then ship it?

Thanks

I’m sorry but I no longer print and cut paper products. It was causing havoc on my print head and simply not worth the risk to the printer.

Wait. Does this mean you will no longer be doing JP CPOs?

All of my vinyl will be available! The paper requires a complete cut through which creates a lot of paper dust. This dust us attracted to the print head because of its electric static that actually goes the printing. Since there are thousands of nozzles in the print head you can see why the dust is a bad thing.

This is not something that happens with vinyl as no dust is created when it is cut.

These printers, no matter which model, can cut paper but suffer from the same issues. It’s a lot of work and unnecessary extra time to force it to work. I’ll let the guys like Art who laser cut the art do it. That’s the method that makes the most sense when coupled with a good printer.

So did the Korean stick not come out (it’s obviously past July), but there are plans for it coming soon? Sorry if this has already been answered

He posted Monday that an announcement concerning them was coming soon.

Full write up coming soon.
Finally got a Neo-Geo MVS that will be consolized thanks to Jasen’s amazing products.

I got 3 Blast City CPOs from Jasen a few weeks ago and just got around to putting them on the metal panels over the last few days. The 3rd panel I have to take to a machine shop before I do any CPO application.

Using Jasen’s YouTube video on how to wet apply, I successfully did it for both of the two (first time doing a wet apply. Was pretty awesome!)

Great quality, quick shipping, super nice guy, blah blah blah. Buy from him.

Thanks Frank! Those look great applied!!

I’ve been busy is weekend at Free Play Florida. Made some new friends, met some SRK lurkers, and got to show off the awesomeness of the Panzer to many locals. It was a great time. I’ll be announcing the Korean edition sticks, price points, and better pictures this week. Orders are going out here starting Monday afternoon. I apologize for not working on them this weekend while I was away.

I have a couple of Panzers that will be ready for immediate sale (case only) by the end of the week, FPF leftovers. As long as usps doesn’t do something stupid…

Same goes for the ADCAP SuperGuns. I have two left over from the show ready for immediate shipment, no two week waiting period ️

Naturally, all of this good stuff going on is thanks to you. I have been officially doing this all for just over a year and am extremely greatful of your support, feedback, and help.

Repost from my Sale Thread, just so you can see it here too!
