I meant the gimmick of being able to swap the stick around is why they probably wont release one with a curved layout as some mentioned they were hoping above It just wouldnt work that way.
No, I agree you bro. Thatās what turned me away from it (that and play-asia kind of suck). The V or U curve would just be awkward. Wouldnāt surprise me if thatās why eightarc only stuck with standard.
Does anybody know a website where I donāt have to use paypal to buy a panel?
I paid with a normal credit card without a paypal account. It lets you pay as a 'guest" and it just bills your CC accordingly under āpaypalEightarcā.
Donāt know if that helps.
But wewt! Mine comes in 2 days! Iāll post some pics with come comparison shots next to my TE when I get it.
Thanks, Iāll try it out. Iām going to pay for my stick and panel tomorrow. Hopefully it works out for me.
It arrived today YAY!!! Loving the Q2 straight button layout.
As you can see from the comparison pic linked below the Q2 is slightly wider than the TE, and while it stated a heavier weight than the TE as well in the specs, I felt no ānoticeableā difference. The Q2 feels just as āsolidā as the TE as well.
My only minor gripes with the stick are no way to replace the top panel/artwork, and you gotta be really careful when screwing the bottom plate back in after opening it up as they seem to be able to strip VERY easily. Another āconā to this stick is the TE gives you almost 5ft more cord on the usb having a 13ā vs the Q2ās 8.2ā.
But these are minor gripes indeed.
Things I like better about the Q2 vs my TE:
- Straight button layout
- It CAME with button plugs.
- Spacious layout inside. I always have to be careful not to squash the button leads when closing up my TE. No worries about that here whatsoever.
- Nothing is connected to the piece you open. I always hated having to balance/juggle the top plate of the TE while changing buttons/balltops/stick springs, etc unless you broke the adhesive seal on the stick itself and unplugged it (which Iād rather not do if I have to)
- It has a handle. Yes for me this is a BIG plus.
- No issues replacing the first (Square) button with a screw-in as the joystick mount plate is quite far from it.
I also apologize for the craptastic lighting on these⦠my camera sucks.

Okay quick warning and VERY large āconā of the Qanba Q2 standard stickā¦
I canāt put my seimitsu screw-ins in this stick without major filing of the metal top plate inside the holes⦠For some reason the metal plate underneath extends slightly inside the circumference of the plastic top plate with small slots cut out for snap-in tabs. However this makes the hole NOT wide enough to fit a screw-in button.
I was very disappointed in this as I was looking forward to swapping the stocks for the seims I just bought last month. Guess Iāll have to keep emā in my TE and order seim snap-ins for this one.
Besides the colors, are there any differences between the ebony and ivory fusion sticks?
I was wondering if any one could help me out i just got a 8 arc fusion and my mic just goes ham and doesnāt work. But when i plug it up to my TE it works perfectly fine. Any ideas?
Please email us at info@eightarc.com with your Paypal transaction or receipt ID and we will work on a resolution for you.
No other differences.
Is the D44BAS Q4 still in stock?
hey maybe you guys would be able top help me. iāve got a new Qanba Q4 black in and im trying to take the balltop off and replace it with another balltop but when i tried to take it off it wouldnāt come off. my brother thinks that its glued on i just think there might be a trick to it. if anyone could help me out that would be great. thanks
After opening up the joystick, use a flat head screwdriver to hold the bottom of the joystick shaft in place. Once you have that secured, twist off the ball top in the opposite direction and it should loosen. Good luck!
Should I turn the balltop counter clockwise or regular clockwise?
i just tryed it again and it didnāt loosen. any other suggestions or tips on how to do this?
I saw a video on YouTube. I believe hold the ball while unscrewing about half a turn. After that you should be able to just unscrew with the ball top.

Ill try that thanks
Has anyone here attempted a dual-mod for an Eightarc Onyx 360 stick (the wooden case) with a ChImp? Iāve completed the job, but Iām having trouble with the controller connecting to the 360. I think it has something to do with the fact that the controller powers on while plugged in without being synced to a particular controller port. Normally, before the mod, you press the home button and the controller syncs to an available port. I guess what Iām wondering is this: is there any way to disable this setting so this controller will work properly?
Here is a pic of the job I completed. No wires out of place on anything and the ChImp side of things works just fine.

How long does it normally take you guys to ship to Canada? GTA to be more exact
