WTS: Voltech Arcade Sticks FTW!

I was think maybe the size could be 4 feet long or 5. for plexi dont care that much.

It’s not so much the cost, it’s more along the lines of the time it takes. It’s not like once he has the plexi the whole design just…appears.

My poor router decided to break on me today and my back up didn’t quite cut it either :frowning: I believe it’s just the trigger but I’ll need to order another one to be sure. I did make some good progress but it stopped me dead in my tracks since I cant do the button layouts and stick placement without it.
So here’s where I’m at until further notice

PJM33 - Your case is ready and packed up. I’ll ship it out Monday morning.

Yoro - Final layer of clear coat applied to your Zebra case, I just need to buff it out and pack it up (still on track for Monday morning shipping)

WupWuh1134 - Your blank poplar frame almost ready but just needs the button layout cut. (waiting on a part for my router)

Vince34 - Your blank maple case is ready but also needs the button layout cut. (waiting on a part for my router)

Hey voltech, i received the case and it is AWESOME. Thanks man! Now need to wait for my 24 mm buttons. =)

Voltech - I also rec’d my case today, and man, you’ve outdone yourself. The new slim design is so comfortable in my lap and easy to grab and carry. The build quality is excellent!

I’m still trying to figure out if I’m gonna go with a wood case or aluminum case. If I do go with a metal case, I need to mod it a bit and mount my Korean stick. Would it be possible to buy a couple of your universal mounting plates off you?

Also, I’ll prolly decide tomorrow morning (when I get stick and case measurements) if I’ll go with wood or metal. Should let you know in a day or two, but I’m thinking it’s gonna be wood (the aluminum ones look a bit too thin, I’m thinking… just waiting on final measurements).

And I should add, your work looks VERY nice!

Update:

I think I’ve decided to go with your cases. I’ll be ordering two. I fly back to the US in less than two days. I can’t use my credit/debit cards with paypal on the side (plenty of money, but I think it has something to do with my IP being out of the US), so it’ll be a couple days until you see my order from the form.

I’ll be getting 2 sticks of the standard size. One will be Oak (dyed black), and the other I haven’t decided on yet. I’ll be dropping my Fanta sticks in them.

Just to let you know… watch for my order in a day or two, once I’m back in the states. =)

Your welcome, Cant wait to see the finished stick!

Yeah I’m glad you like it. Make sure you post pics once it’s all finished up.

Alright thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the update and weird your router went out on ya. My craftsman dremel burned out of me this past weekend too. Had to hit sears for a new one for my statue work. Thanks for keeping us updated, looking forward to this case!

THE POWERTOOL REVOLUTION HAS BEGUN! HIDE THE CHILDREN!

Got my piano black case in today—looks sweeeet! I’m not sure when I’ll get around to wiring/artwork, but I’ll be posting pics for sure when I’m done.

Overall great trading experience, Voltech. I just wish I had seen your thread before lazeeya’s

just ordered a case, cant wait till its ready and shipped

voltech can u make a TE clone case with turbo cut on top panel and hole at the back for the mic. let me know thanks

@ raita01 - Alright cool man got your order and sent you a return email.

@ meus - I don’t know man I would need the measurements for the TE. It might be a little out of my range to do that. I could do a little hole for the mic but not the turbo cutout.

for the turbo cut u can do it. im not asking to make the cut perfect. but u can cut the edge of the top panel. cut it from there .

You want it just like the TE stick?

Good news! I ended up getting a new Router  The old one was dead and the switch didn’t help at all. So now I’m the owner of a brand new Craftsman router

Vince34 and Wupwuh1134 your cases are ready and I am packing them up now. (after I snap a few pics) I’ll ship them out tomorrow morning.

I got a few new orders ( Murakumo, raita01 ) that I will begin on Monday of next week since I’ll be out of town over the weekend. Like I said before I need a 2 week build time and I plan to build a few more that I will post up for sale but I’m not sure what wood I’ll be using just yet, but I got some extra exotics that are just begging to be used. It will be a surprise I guess.

On a side note
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about fully assembled sticks, but I just don’t have the time to do all the wiring but if someone wants to step up and do the wiring I’d be willing to work something out as a joint effort. PS3 sticks are pretty easy to make but the Xbox 360 takes time and skill to solder up along with dual modded sticks. If I could find someone local to do that end of it we might have something. Anyway just a though. Let me know what you guy think.

Also I have a new design I’ve been working on but I need a guy that can bend punch holes in and powder coat metal ie Alloy or steel. Anybody have a friend I could contact?

here are pics of mine…not finished, still gotta wire it up

Man, I’m so tempted to grab that black one, I just don’t like the wood grains being visible =/. Decisions, decisions.

Looks good! Nice art where did you get that?

It’s up to you, I can always make a new one
