for the record, these issues are not related to my workmanship, they are related to the series and revision of the pcb and buggy capcom games lol.
if someone wants a ps1 digital pcb installed then you shouldnt have any problems 
I think the next 3 would be series H so it should be ok and perhaps the others. need to check inventory but it should be ok.
ok i do not want to start some kind of “OMG finkle sells bad sticks” drama
this problem is from the series A pcb not interacting well with ps2 capcom games (cvs2, sf:ac)
i will test them on their jap counterparts this week and deliver compatibility with those
while my stick disagrees with those games, i have no problem with any other games and or dreamcast games through a convertor
again this is nothing to doo with the quality of finkle’s work
oh i wasn’t saying anything about his sticks, this was the stick i need to get replaced with finkle’s.

Of course it’s not his fault, especially due to the fact that it only does it on certain games, weird.
By the way fink I only use ps2 so whatever works for me.

Word. I didn’t want to give a vibe like Noel was at fault there. It, along with the oh so unreliable usps are just unexpected hurdles. And while they do suck, it couldn’t hurt to make a joke or two about them. I am still excited as hell to see what comes out of his magic joystick lab for me.
But just curious Noel, what pcb is supposed to go in my stick? I don’t really have a preference either way so long as the thing works with sf:ac and tekken 5. It seems like just a few isolated cases are coming up from an otherwise smooth pcb track record though so it’s also not really something I’m too worked up about.
Anyway, more cheers for Noel and all stick makers. It’s seriously a cool service to the gaming community.
well my joystick that messed up i had for 2 years before it started messing up. and i think it was a dualshock one since it was from hori and i just modded it (hooray for quick disconnects).

going good! I started painting alot of sticks today yours was one of them, I just put some parts on order for me so hopefully things will be getting done soon.

Hey Noel, the whole thing about SFAC got me a little worried because that’s the main game I’ll be using the stick for. Is there a difference between using a Series A PCB and using a Series H PCB? And I’ve started playing some fighting games on the PC as well, will a PS1 Digital PCB work well with a PSX --> USB adapter?
I know it’s only been a week but how’s my stick coming along? I know you must be busy with finishing other ones first.
Series A and H are quite different in design and there’s a few different revisions of series H too. I have a few series H laying around which might be gone by then or some series A or H might take its spot depending what comes in at the time.
I used a PS1 Digital pad on my USB adapter for quite a while and didnt have any problems with it playing MAME or other emulators or games for that matter.
your stick is moving along nicely, I have started it and progress is going well, like the others your stick’s parts is coming in a big order so by the time the parts come in I should have quite a few sticks to show off.

your case is pretty much done, I gotta do a few finishing touches but it’s pretty much there now. I just might be sending it out this week or early next week.

Well, about the PCBs and adpators, the main problem is not adaptors for a pc but for the xbox because the xbox adaptors only accept dualshock PCBs. In my case if I wasn’t going to use my stick also with my box, I would have settled for a good old full digital PCB…
