henry: man! whats happening? I got your emails we’ll be in touch soon! thanks!
tom: hahaha I thought the same thing when I looked at the pics. I was like dammit, compost bin joystick pic! your flat top box will also be this way too… I was going to suprise you but well I cant resist. yes it will still have the flat top without the curve but it will have no exposed edges or screws on the top.
eric: glad you like it! serial# 01 haha
Jason: hahaha it looks clean but I gotta tell ya, its full or organics and with the warm weather its not so great hahaha!
Cesar: started? man… its almost done! just been on the hunt for your teletubby purple! it might end up being red, I hope thats cool.
Hai: maybe I can interest you in another? hahaha
everyone: PMs will be answered asap!
thanks so much!
w00t…thats awesome, red is fine…thx for looking though heh…oh yeah sending you a diff pic right now (gmail) for the stick, if thats ok
sorry about the purple, if my compressor was working I would have just mixed the color myself and sprayed it on but i’m on aerosol duty this month so colors are slim for the time being. but rest assured it will be great in red!
got your email too
You’re the hottest Canadian ever! And I like a lot of Canadians!
Can’t wait Noel! Just be sure and put in some prank in my package for the usps when they decide to taint it. =)
Hmmmm so that’s the hot new curve…

Hey Noel,
I know you’re super busy, but I was wondering if you have an ETA on my stick. Show an SRK admin some love or I’ll lock your thread. :crybaby:
Just kidding about locking the thread…
No, really, I’ll shut this down in a heartbeat.
No, just kidding! Sorry! :lovin:
Keep up the great work.
cannonnnnnnnnn shakes fist
thanks man
after this week we can sit down and get something going for you
cool?
finkle, i wanted to get a stick from you. generally, i interested in a fanta stick with lg microswitches with six obsn30rg. let me know what’s up.
Sent you another pm some days ago, but you didn’t answer…plz write back asap.
Awsome. Thanks.
Finkle: sent you a PM. i think you got it. anyway. just hoping you respond soon. using this T5 stick is killing me.
Received my stick in the mail last Wednesday and was luckily able to get some time into it amidst the frenzy of school finals.
The stick came nicely secured and wrapped in the box, helping to assure a safe delivery. The first thing to notice after taking it out of the box was how even the design and cut of the materials had been. It lay perfectly flat on the counter and had four small rubber ‘stoppers’ to prevent sliding on the bottom. The smooth finish of paint applied appealed to the eyes and hands as well, certainly guaranteed to garner glances of intrigue from anyone it meets. The buttons were very smooth and soon found to be responsive and natural to the hands; the stick following with its own perfection immediately after. Lastly, the bottom construction allowed for easy access to any future mods one may be inclined to include.
So, the sum of quality, aesthetics, feel, customization, and obvious dedication put into every breathing part certainly makes these sticks the deal, if not envious steal of the fighting community. If one if ever in need of a superior custom stick, then look no further as Finkle definitely has that down.
Thank-you very much for the wonderful stick Finkle.
Sincerely,
Bluehaze
you’re very welcome Logan!
thank you for the very well written positive review too!
I hope it was worth the wait, I know sometimes it takes a while to get the wheels in motion but hopefully it was worth it
thanks!
finks
hey finkle
i had bought the custom that you sold to Alee a few months back
im struggling with my pcb
it seems to not work with street fighter anniversary collection on the ps2??
whenever i plug it in, it will just constantly go to the left and the right
it works fine with every other ps2 game ive played
ever hear of this problem?
Only that game?
if so thats pretty odd indeed! if I remember correctly (it’s been a really long time) that stick has a series A pcb. I have never seen this happen exclusively to one particular game, I have seen it happen just in general for any game. has this always been the case or has it just started to happen recently?
let me know and maybe I can come to some sorta solution hopefully
actually nothing to do with finkle’s sticks, but for one of my sticks i think i had a series A pcb, and for any game it would work except Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. It would just move up thus my character kept jumping. I thought my pcb was buggy, but sometimes i think the game is just weird.
the ps2 version has some issues. btw nice sticks finkle.
WHOA!!!
im having that problem now!!! what did you do to fix it???
except that it goes left for every game.
it’s kinda funny, everyone wants the dual shock pcb no matter what the series but with the exception of people wanting to use converters they aren’t my pcb of choice. if it was up to me I would put the old playstation digital pcb in every stick I build since it works with every fighting game out there. for anyone who isnt using a converter then I dont see any reason for not using the old digital OR even a quality 3rd party pcb.
I have seen more than my share of people have issues with dual shock, I had one issue back in the day myself but luckily things have been good so far knocks on wood
I suspect its some issue with the pcb and losing its bearings and not being able to center itself back to a neutral position. this could be from the IC/component failing or just a revision that just acts odd. alot of times just because something is series A, H or anything else that fits in a dual shock case there’s so many different revisions of pcbs it’s no wonder sometimes things arent stable or bug free sometimes.
Anniversary collection like SNkNut (thanks!) said has issues too, never seen an issue with it using some 3rd party or original digital pcbs though. I have even seen gamepads work in one console and when plugged into a different ps2 not work at all. it’s really a tricky business sometimes!
