Do you actually build the cases or do you gut a pre-built stick for these builds (i.e. the SF one)? I am just curious and interested in purchasing one.
A few other questions, do you have different case options or just the ones shown on your site? Also what size does the art have to be when we give it to you and how is it printed? Thanks a lot for the help!
I sell both complete ready to use joysticks and empty cases for someone who wants to take part in the building experience.
as far as shapes and sizes I can do sloped, flat and as long as it’s within the same basic shapes I can make them bigger or smaller depending on what someone might be interested in. naturally if more work has to be done it might cost more than say one of my typical empty cases but it all depends on what someone might ask me to do.
the standard case’s artwork is 8.5x11 inches and can be printed from pretty much any image file source directly to high res inkjet printing.
if you have any other questions drop me a PM and we can talk
thanks!
You’re the king of commenting on things you don’t know about. My understanding was that I could get the stick in a month, tomorrow is a month, but I don’t know if he’s counting from when I sent payment or when he announced he started building the stick, if he’s going by the latter, then that means he has till the 17th.
well without a war going on in my thread I will let you know my intentions with the sticks…
my main goal was to send out as many this week as possible including irennicus’ and a few others. some have outstanding balances so i’m not sweating those too much. there are some I wish to get outta my hands as quickly as possible since I may or may not be here for the whole week since I might have to go to chicago for a tradeshow for a few days.
with this in mind, once it leaves my hands it can take upwards of 10 days to make it to its destination from canada. If there’s a tournement or other thing that may come up within that time please keep in mind once it leaves my hands I have no control over things. but as always I will try my best from my end to make the best of the situation.
Whatever anyone says, finkle’s probably infinitely more reliable than, say, Just Plain Gaming. If he takes a little over a month + shipping, that’s nowhere as bad as how long my guy took for my shoddy stick (3+ months).
Word. And if he takes a bit longer than you thought, it means either he doesn’t have the parts or that you won’t regret it when you see the work of art.
