3 blank cases
Paid for 12/18/2008
Recieved 4/15/2009
4 months isn’t bad, especially when the queue is so big.
I’m on my third month coming up soonish, I know that the case is finished, he just hasn’t sent word that it’s been shipped yet.
Not really. I am starting a collection at this point and would love to have one of Finkle’s sticks. They’re amazing. I have a Lazeeya case being made. I have a stick made by Souji5 (which is fuckin awesome by the way). He is working on a purple heart Wii stick for my daughter that’s looking to be amazing. I also have a TE stick.
I know I probably should not be posting here considering I don’t have 50 posts yet and I just joined all of 10 minutes ago so hopefully won’t cause a problem but I was looking through these forums and just amazed at the work that is done on these sticks. I was just wondering what the queue is like for one of these sticks? Some are saying upwards of half a year to get theirs which I am sure is incredibly reasonable I just wanted to see kind of what the time frame was.
Again sorry if this is a big no no to post here.
Awesome. many thanks!!
dang. still waiting for mine to arrive. It’s been shipped out already. Argh.
Wow, awesome sticks, wish I had the money…
Anyone heard from Finkle lately? I’ve been having a major issue with my stick, so I emailed him over two weeks ago. Still haven’t heard back.
interested pm’n ya
what type of buttons does finkle use? snap-in or screw-in? sanwa or seimitsu?
I seriously had a random dream that Finkle actually responded to my broken stick email…
…lol, guess not.
:chainsaw:
I’m honestly not sore about it, just want to get my shit fixed & pay for whatever costs.
After that, I have a couple hundred sitting here for more product if he wants it.
…does…not…compute…
3 months and counting for me since ive PAID for my 2 sticks.
mine has arrived
cheers
i’m almost done with the wiring
Hey Finkle sent you an email with a few questions. Hope you reply soon. Your work is amazing btw.
Question
It’s not a slight against any one person.
I’m looking for a custom stick and noticed that this is one of the only people who are doing them in Canada. I also liked the slope design. I want to know from others if you believe that this is worth it? I will most definitely be interested in buying one. I do a lot of graphics on my own…so I can do graphics for it on my own time.
I just want to know if you feel that what you got was exactly what you ordered?
The only reason I ask is because he hasn’t responded to a lot of people so I read. I would love to give the business to a fellow Canadian and keep him going in business, that is why I ask. I just want to make sure A) Noel is still doing them B) that they are as good as everyone says they are.
I’ve never heard anyone complain 'bout there sticks, apparently high quality stuff, but, his downfall is communication. Last time I heard from him was April 29th, with pictures of the finished product. I have yet to get it in, so I’m guessing it hasn’t been shipped yet, and when I’ve sent him 2 emails over the last couple weeks, I’m still waiting on a response.
If I had to guess, like last time, he had to take a trip somewhere, but honestly have no clue.
He won’t respond to my emails regarding the broken case even though I was willing to pay for the costs to get a replacement side piece. I’m sorry, but thats just lame at this point…I’ve been plenty patient.
Nobody is that busy.
I just don’t get it. 2 of my 3 blank cases were jacked up…1 was broken. I had to wet sand 2 of them because the paint was horrible. The 3rd one was perfection so I know his work can be flawless.
Nice cases, rushed job at the end, bad luck with the mail service and poorly packed.
I’m over it now, I’ve already made 2 new side pieces out of aluminum and will be painting them soon. Its just a pain in the ass after waiting so long.
Noel’s cases are really slick and he seems like a decent guy, he’s just not good at communication after he has your money. He will eventually get you your stuff.
I wanted to get 3 more cases from him but I’m talking to other builders and will take my $$$ somewhere else.
I wish Noel and all of you the best.
