WTB: wico p360

I should be pretty easy to tell if the ones with the ‘Happ QA’ stickers are decent. Is there any clicking or grinding when the stick is moved around as the pivot issues are probably the biggest issue of post China Happ P360s.
The Kit one looks pretty decent as far as being good to go though if you can safely take it apart it would be easier to diagnose what may be missing. That said the part that it’s clipped can usually be transferred to other Happ/iL sticks.

Thanks @yoooooon & @“Nobus3r1 ver. 2.0”

Was afraid these’s were SUZO/HAPP’s… but the price was right so it didn’t hurt too too bad :s

So…

For BLACK CIRCLE BOTTOM P360’s:
[] If there’s a HAPP logo on the bottom, then it’s SUZO/HAPP
[
] If there’s NO logo on the bottom, then it’s IL/HAPP

and (duh) if there’s a WICO logo on the bottom, then it’s WICO
Do I have that right?

I’ll take apart the Kit P360 tonight and take some pics to see if I’ve got all the parts needed.

Those look like good Happ 360s to me. The black kit version is the first production/prototype/early run of optical sticks as far as I know. I have one kicking around… the screw terminals are very handy. One thing to be concerned with even with new old stock is to check to make sure that the optical sensors/diodes/whateverthefuck still work. I’ve had a couple minty looking duds over the years.

Bottom line with the Happ 360s… If they feel good and are responsive then who cares what it says on the base.

Agreed, I think I’m gonna eventually need to jerry-rig some sort of P360 tester bench:

Where can I find the FGC version of this:

Not sure about the ‘No logo’ status otherwise I think you’re right. I would also be fairly careful with the storage of the kit P360 as the rubber grommets on those can be kind of iffy not to mention that, from stalking arcade parts on eBay, they have gotten really expensive to replace. Expensive as in I picked up a few a couple of years ago (these have long since moved on from my possession) for $15-18ea and the ones I’ve seen come up for sale recently have $40+ price tags attached to them. Even arcadeshop.de which used to be a pretty reliable source of NOS Wico Grommets no longer has any in stock. Might suggest just seeing what other models of Happ you can graft the Optical part onto.

Where the sensors burned out or just out of alignment? Both?

seriously, those look like good p360s. I’m hella jelz. hahahahaha.

Ok so who has any wicos for sale

Any happ 360s for sale

What do Wico P360s usually go for? I think I may know someone who has 1 or 2 sitting around.

Sky’s the limit for a NOS WICO P360 with the logo style dust washer. I’d say $180 for a used one in like new condition, and subtract from that based on the condition of the specific unit. Same pricing for a NOS Happ P360, but start at $120 for use like new one.

I am looking to part with this, had it in storage for the longest. Its one of the Original P360s and was very lighly used.

Nice one!!!

Does anyone know where I can get replacement parts for a wico p360. I have an old one with the sleeve and all but it feels a bit over used.

What part do you need? Pics would help.

How much, good sir?

I think it’s the spring. The joystick has a bit of play when you use it. It doesn’t stand firm. I’m gonna take it apart and post pics later @Feargus001100

@Feargus001100 Might I suggest starting a ‘Perfect 360 Model Identification and Maintenance’ topic in Tech Talk.

At @“Nobus3r1 ver. 2.0” I’ll post pics as soon as I get home.

Here is a video explaining my situation. Sorry for the late reply

So without seeing what everything looks like when it’s been taken apart it’s a bit tough to judge what might be wrong. Based on how worn out the battop is I’m guessing that this stick has been through some battles and as such replacing the spring probably isn’t the worst idea. I forget what model(s?) of Happ or iL sticks you can reliably cannabalize for Perfect 360 compatible springs (hence my suggestion for the Tech Talk topic). The bad news is that I thought that I heard a slight rattle noise when you moved the stick around. Best case is that this is nothing to be worried about and will go away when a new spring in installed. Worst case scenario is that something inside the stick - most likely the pivot - is damaged and moving more than it should. The really bad news is that if the worst case scenario is in fact the case and the pivot is cracked then you’ve got a problem as I’m not sure how one would go about sourcing a replacement.
