I have a happ and a wico. The difference between the two as far as input registry is insanely noticeable! The happ misses down forward and up forward a LOT, i used it at a recent mvc2 tourney and was very unsatisfied. I need a new ps360+ for my wico but when i do i dont think ill touch the happ again lol cx
Input registry on the happs can generally be fixed with an actuator of slightly smaller diameter. Overall build quality is crap though. There’s definitely good Happ ones floating around – I have one that would pass for a Wico, but you’re right… Wico is king bc they are all buttery by default.

I would be down to get some of the Kowal p360’s acuators if he makes more of them. Maybe if we get enough ppl to join in on this he would be willing to make another run of them.
I think some of the diagonal issues are also with the optical pcb itself. I had one that not go Up/Left for the longest time.
If someone knows how to get a Kowal I would appreciate it. I would like to try out his actuators. I don’t have the skill or tools to work with plastic materials.

IMO it sounds like this will not fix shitty diagonals on a p360, but if you have one that is good, it will improve the diagonals or at least make them more responsive. At least that is what I think.
If you actually get a hold of Kowal, ask him if he has any of those custom Suzo Inductive shafts or the blueprint/diagram he used to have more made. I’ve asked several times and the guy is hard to track down.
I’ll take 10 of the Kowal actuators as well.

Hi guys I need some help again I.D.'ing some P360’s I picked up.
I recently jumped on a deal for 5 Perfect 360’s that was too good to pass up.
Details:
[list][] Seller claimed that the Happ ones were purchased from Happ before they merged with Suzo & have been in his closet for ~10 years
[] From inspecting them today the two with the +5V and Ground wires still on them, are truly NOS
[] The two with the +5V and Ground wires removed are also pretty cherry, but show some marks on the direction tabs, so they were definitely wired up at some point
[] The Black P360 kit mated up to the Wico leaf is also a NOS part, but it looks like he didn’t have/get the “supporting” kit that has the actuator, mating plate, collar, clips, misc. parts, etc. that let’s you rig the P360 up to a Happ Super or Ultimate stick[/list]
So… can anyone debunk/confirm if I bought any Suzo/Happ sticks, and also if I could get some advice as to any parts I may need to get the black P360 kit up and running?

Nice catch man - jealous.
Not sure about the differences between the “happ” and the “suzo happ” p360s, but those look to be one of the “newer” p360s - you can tell since there is Happ emblazoned on the bottom of the plastic housing, whereas the older wico/happ ones either had a red bottom and different plastic casing OR look like the ones you have but with no happ lettering on the bottom.
You can also tell by looking at the PCB on the inside - the older ones had “wico 360” imprinted on the inside of the pcb, while newer ones had “happ” 360 imprinted on it. Also, the older ones had the housing “lock” into together more snuggly when reassembling the bottom PCB housing, the newer ones don’t have that same snapping.
All in all, still a great haul. I know the newer P360s have a reputation, but with a couple mods and some silicon lube, they perform pretty damn well IMO. I have a theory on why the newer p360s have problems and have found a solution that works pretty well for me.
