Seriously did any other wrestling fan cop this? Honestly I loved playing this and for SNES I did pick Luger and Razor the most, I did get it for PSX, but the arcades felt different from the PSX version.
I remember hitting a 20 hit combo, yeah I know. With all the Digitized games like the Jackie Chan and SFTM: THE GAME, might as well bust out the WWF game.

I remember renting it for the Genesis it was a fun game. I think the only character that had a projectile was the undertaker but I could be wrong. And since I rented it I didn’t know how to make the super combos work 100% of the time. I just knew it worked during a throw.

wasn’t every wrestler supposed to have a fatality? like i think that was the plan at first, then after they finished undertaker’s the wwf said “no” and that’s why he’s the only guy who has one.
also the the good shit in this game was picking guys up and throwing them out of the ring for hella damage - luger/yoko/bam bam could all do it i think
I think it was in the proverbial sequel, “WWF In Your House” for the PSX and Saturn.
Everyone had long combos off grabs, the game is the shit, Bret “The Hitman” Hart FTW.
I remember when the undertaker would do his choke pin and bats would fly out. Classic midway back when they made good games.
I used to play this a lot when it was on display in one of the local game stores (Genesis version) and got to buy it later on during the PS1 days.
Bam Bam Bigelow was pretty awesome in this - dude can burn people into a crisp from his turnbuckle jump.

yeah undertaker actually had 2 projectiles, a regular one and a dizzy one
also dug some more and i was right about the fatality thing. undertaker has one in the arcade version but nobody else does, and even that was removed from all the console ports. this was when the wwf was still targeting 10-year-olds as opposed to 15-year-olds, and i guess they Cared A Lot about being “family-friendly”
dude this game was pretty awesome. It was one of the first games i owned on the ps1. I also had in your house on the sega saturn. Good times! I liked the quotes when the wrestlers won matches.
Fun. Used to whoop my cousins’ asses with this game. A lot of other wrestling games are fun too but after smackdown vs raw I lost interest and couldn’t keep up.

haha i don’t even like wrestling at all and i enjoyed both this game and in your house for ps1. real fun games… at least as far as memories go.
