Everyone except Zangief, who’s voiced by the director (Rich Moore).
movie was ok, not as good as I thought it would be. Marketing did a good job of pretending the movie would be about all the video game characters we know and love, when in reality they’re only in the very beginning. Script was pretty meh.
The Japanese title for this movie is called ‘Sugar Rush’.
Spoilers? I dunno.
They’ll probably pimp out the fact that the music during that portion is AKB48 too.
Also I forgot to mention how much I loved the short before this film.
This is the reason why I choose to not even bother. I don’t want to piss on any one’s parade, but just like music, I don’t enjoy gimmicks.
did you guys really think the whole story was going to involve qbert, zangief, and bowser going on a quest together?
Having said that, I really would want to see a Disney/Pixar helmed CG Super Mario Bros. movie!
A super mario bro movie would be sickkkk
Don’t listen to him, the movie stood on its own without all that shit, having them in there was an entire bonus.
Come the fuck on, two pages worth of praise and you suck the dick of the one guy walking in the opposite direction.
Lol when good luck liking anything.
This was a good, family movie. We see the guy change from nice guy who means well, but is treated like trash (literally). Into yeah.
This was a good movie. If you hate “gimmicks” then you won’t ever like anything. Everything has a theme, a look, a niche.
Its available at Disneyland. I played it and its fun for what it is. Pics will come later.

The only thing that’s touching dicks, is the circle jerk that is happening in this thread. Pot calls kettle black.
Family movie, right, feel-good sappy story about a nice guy who gets treated like shit, already knew this. If you think everything is a fucking gimmick, your life is a joke.
I can’t believe that there’s people who thought this would be about all the cameo characters together. In a sense it is kinda like Toy Story since the main characters are original creations while actual existing toys/character’s serve as cameo appearances, but more to the extent that Roger Rabbit did when it came to such appearances. Having those characters appear in the film gave it a tie to our own real world by showing our established games/characters in the film’s own world. I don’t think it would have been as good or as cool to just have generic clone characters fill the background. If you end up mad at X character only appearing for a few seconds with only 1-2 or less lines of dialog then I don’t know what the hell you were expecting from this movie.
That would have been fucking awesome. Both Ideas.
What would have made my day in this movie was a poverty game reference. Rouga, Sai and Akatsuki, Kohatsu, any one would make me have a big cheesy smile.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Us coming into a thread about the film and saying we enjoyed the film is a circle jerk?
:looney:
BAH GAWD STOP LIKING WHAT I DONT LIKE
It’s the Internet. At best, it’s a circle jerk. At worst, claiming to enjoy something means you’re an obstinate fanboy who refuses to acknowledge any semblance of artistic standards.
(Note: if you claim to dislike something, it means you’re either a hater, a hipster, a hater-hipster, or Stuart Hayden. Because this is the Internet.)
Overall the movie wasn’t too bad. I can tell they’re gonna milk the hell out of it with a variety of video games but I’m okay with it as long as they turn out to be decent.
Wreck-It Ralph deserves the praise. A great film; strong characters, strong messages about purpose and obligation, a very thoughtful analysis of what being a “hero” actually means – it’s good stuff. All the videogame nods are just gravy.
This in a nutshell
Wreck-it Ralph for MVC4.
Do it.
