iirc the credits have it the same with the other SF characters with speaking parts, except for Zangief

This movie is going to be good. I haven’t seen a bad CGI movie in years. I think #9 was the only one that disapointed me and that was mostly stop animation.
the paperman trailer or short film they showed before the movie gave me hope for the “return” of 2d looking 3d animation…If that makes any sense

Honestly… yes.
The cameos was the most disappointing factor of the movie for me. So disappointing, I just stop giving a fuck 5 minutes after the movie started.
So in that regarded, I was able to the view the movie for what it was, and yes I still found it entertaining. The movie was just a watered down Toy Story… but would you say that’s a bad thing?
I felt like they could’ve done more with the ending, but oh well.
But what were you expecting? Like what kind of story were you hoping for in a movie like this? Would you have liked Ryu to play a major run in this?

I enjoyed the movie alot because it was about wanting to be more than what your labeled. The cameo’s just made me smile even harder… I think alot of people expected for the main character to fight and interact with people like ryu mario and sonic all movie…

A SF2 cab with Ryu and Ken (in game sprites with unique animation) is featured at the beginning of the the film and you see a fully rendered Ryu in the bg of another scene.
This movie did not pander to me at all, the cameos were actually smart and fun, and I would attest this film more to being a video game version of Roger Rabbit and not Toy Story. Also thought I’d hate Sarah Silverman’s character but she entirely grew on me and the Felix / Army Chick pairing put a huge grin on my face. Absolutely surprised at how genuinely enjoyable this film was. I will see this again for sure.

The movie had a nice and simple objective for the main character that didn’t feel ‘forced on’. Loved it.

This movie looks amazing! Im for sure going to see it when I have the time… It’s been so long since I saw a disney movie in the theaters haha.
Yeah, I know it exists, but Disney only distributed it for promotion.
There is a guy who made his own cab, and it looks damn nice… unfortunately, the only way I can see to work it is to get a PC and run the Flash version of the game, and the Flash version just doesn’t do the movie version justice.
