I stayed for the end credits as it struck me as a flick with an easter egg at the end. Didn’t have one, besides a glitchy 8bit style screen that showed the main characters. However in the end I saw it gave thanks to game companies for using their likenesses; Capcom apparently also gave them E. Honda to use. I main him… anyone spot the sumo?

I liked the movie. I’m actually glad it didn’t get reduced to a flurry of video game references with minimal plot. That’s what 5 minute Newgrounds flash vids are for.
The biggest surprise for me was me being greatly impressed by Sarah Silverman’s voicework, she really brought her character to life. (sans vagina references too!) All in all, standard entertaining/ formulaic-but-works 3D movie.

I gotta admit it that I was sucker into watching this movie because of the video game character cameo appearance. But that not the only reason I went to watch it.
You know what ? AKB48 should do a music video where Wreck it Ralph make a cameo shouting “I’m gonna wreck it” while the AKB48 girls dance in their mini skirt.
I played through that whole game like a week or so ago.
Sadly it’s not very good, but it can be a fun little diversion. If they ever release a real life-sized version of this game on consoles I expect it to be high-speed and action packed.
(My main is Crumbelina because caramel is the best of all sweets)

Went with some friends and GS associates last night and thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The cameos and small in jokes were just icing on the cake since the movie didn’t really rely on this. My wife called the plot twist 10 minutes before it happened and I thought it was a pretty solid one. Pretty nice that any of the cameo characters that did talk they actually went through the trouble of hiring their VA’s. I wouldn’t mind seeing this again if provided with an opportunity to do so I can catch anything else I miss and I will definitely be buying the blu-ray whenever it gets released.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but out of curiosity did they get the actual Bison VA as well? Also in the trailers, I personally think Kano sounded like Francis from L4D. Though that is based off of one line
