Well just think, if it hadnt come this quickly, think of how much bitching would be going on if it was next year with no updates/new chars/stages/costumes etc
I could care less how yuou feel about me or my opinion… I need no validation from you… The fact is that the combo system from MVC2 Was better to me and IMO they should have kept it
“im gonna wait for the next one” …“I could just wait a few months for the next one.”
Why would you if you play fighting games competitively and you have money in your wallet?
SRK is a bunch of broke ass kids crying because they had to trade in all their other games that they got smashed in playing online and now they have to find some quick cash by November to get this too. lol.
Chain hitting, that can be cancelled into supers and specials and DHCs and cool air combos and infinites with assist characters
That’s why MvC2 > MvC3… Marvel 3 has NONE of that.
Like I said , that was in response to Keits’s editorial. I’m trying to get those of us who are dissatisfied heard in a constructive manner, as opposed to just whining and bitching. If you read it, why add nothing with that lame attempt at flaming, if you didn’t, pay it no mind and keep it moving. For clarity’s sake, I borrowed and just messed around a bit because I hated TVC, and didn’t like the build of MVC3 from Evo last year. It’s not my style. I’ve played SF since SF1, and have given arcades and Capcom thousands of dollars over the past 20 years. I own/have owned all versions of SF2 (SNES), SF3(DC), Alpha 1 and 3, SF4, SOME of the costumes, Puzzle Fighter, Pocket Fighter, XBLA HF, HDR, along with several other games from them, bought legit, mostly Day 1. I’m a rabid Capcom fighter fan. I just don’t like this particular game, and I don’t like the precedent this sets. I’m not going to stoop to your level, but if you want to have an adult conversation on our opposing viewpoints, let’s go.
Not for you? Then the one thing I can tell you is… don’t buy it.
And please, save us the whole “I-won’t-stoop-to-your-childish-ways” thing. Not many people here care for a calm, orderly debates, but that doesn’t give you the right to talk down to them because of that.
I won’t. My point is that if nobody says anything, the Capcom fighters I care about, basically THE REST OF THEM, may be subject to the same greedy practices and sloppy production values.
As far as “talking down” to him, that’s your right to feel that way, but if you read my original post, my whole deal is to get the ball rolling with talking to them in a mature manner they (Capcom decision makers) will take seriously. He came at me with the flames, I am trying to stay OT.
Like I said, the only worthwhile discussion that needs to happen is between Capcom and your wallet. you said yourself that you don’t like mvc3, which makes me wonder what Your motives are behind your diatribe over the release of UMvC3. It’s an update like countless others from Capcom. Since you’re such a big fan that loves to let others know in detail what you buy, Capcom’s business plan really shouldn’t come as a surprise to you.
Seriously? He wasn’t talking down to anybody. The person he quoted told him to "Shut the fuck up"
Many of them just tend to ignore shit like that. You don’t see “calm and orderly debates” because the people that are for those type tend to just ignore the stupidity presented to them throughout most of the forum.
I’m not defending this person, as I don’t agree with him…
but you’re wrong here.
Thats besides the point. The ones crying and complaining about UmvC3 being too soon or Capcom milking either are gonna get it anyway or didnt even like MvC3 but insist on ranting over a game they shouldnt care about.
Thats the part that makes no sense. This is nothing new from capcom
5 versions of SF2
2 versions of Alpha 3
2 versions of SFex
3 versions of SF3
3 versions of SF4
