Ok after watching the videos i have some more comments.
You don’t even look like your playing the game as much as playing for the camera. As soon as one of you two learns to stop doing wack combos and 1-2-3 assist patterns that aren’t working the entire game is gonna change.
For example, venom is gonna come in with that unsafe fake venom trap and instead of 2 normals and a missed assist it’s going to be combo to super
to dhc to dead venom gg. Maybe the kens should do launch short hk instead of short forward fireball. Jill is adding stuff to her combos that are making them miss for no reason. People jumping into free supers at random…
I think you are having fun cause your pressing a lot of buttons and they all chain together and look pretty, but i don’t see where your even maximizing your own rules (which is why you need infinite time, you miss way too much to kill people within a reasonable time).
You also claim that there are some undiscovered strategies in low tier that we all missed because of the top tier. Unfortunately that is false as well, MvC2 is probably the only game the US players know in and out at all tiers. After knowing all that, they’ve decided it’s not fun, the reason it’s fun to you, if i had to guess, is because you don’t yet know what they know.
You guys need to progress and research a bit more about how the characters work before concluding things about your rules. All IMO of course.

Yup, we were having fun. Dont tell me you dont have a blast when u play this game. N E Ways it was like the fist time for us to play games with a characters being low so yeah we were having a fun time. We recorded matches of serious shit with top tier characters but we got nowhere to host them :sad: , but who wants to see 2 unknown persons playing with top tier characters when they can just go to zachs, combovideos, etc. Oh and i havent practiced alot thats why i kinda suck and jin wins. My dreamcast broke and my game is scratch, plus they are getting both real expensive, in amazon or ebay used scratch copies are going for $40 and up and New ones for $120. But anyways, next for your input Jaguar, maybe next time we will play a few matches with low tier characters like if we were at the finals at EVO. :karate:

Me and him where both pretty rusty, him without any version of the game and me practicing on dc d pad then switching to the ps2 analog.
I’m planning on using rogue + megaman to do some sick shit next time, (he’s a good sub for tronne when doing the cross up hk)
yea they weren’t serious by any means but i still say you do’nt know how this game will turn out until you try it.
i mean this is our first time playing it like this, of course it’s going to be rough, improvised and downright dirty.
People weren’t roming the first time they played mvc2 either.
We don’t even know what will become most effective, sure you can know alot about mvc2 but when you take so much out of a game it’s bound to change at least on some level.
well that sucks, maybe the marvel scene has changed to the point where sent kinda kills most low tiers no matter who plays it?
does zaza really think low tiers are completely unviable though? I remember he used to also do strider doom and mags at times back then, so it’s not like he was bound by low tiers even though you could look at the team kinda like low tier.
neways, it’s still drastically changed, at the moment it’s more focused about chipping down.
i can’t really tell you what it would really be about unless alot of people played it for a significant ammount of time, which prolly won’t happen.
