Sounds like someone got sick of being made fun of, Dogmeat.
Those zombies man. For some reason I had a really hard time with those on that boss battle where they just keep swarming you. Dancing takes out most of them, but then you’re on low health (why does dancing/hat throwing take away health?) with a few left and no magic sparkly attacks so you’re really weak and they have a lot of stamina.
(Nothing about it being a bad game or not. Just felt like telling a story)
The game’s hilarious though. More of a “so bad/weird is good” even if the mechanics were sound. I thought even as a kid that Michael rescuing a bunch of little girls was creepy. And the way his 16-bit mouth stretched open unnaturally-wide and said “AOOO!” after a level scared me the first time I saw it.
this one racing game for the snes where you were either a boat or a car and OIL slicks where hard as fuck to dodge.
Arkadian warriors… fucking waste, lol.
I bunch of XBLA suck because of they price / xD /
All of Moonwalker’s faults were instantly forgiven as soon as you see Michael Jackson turns into a giant mech and starts killing everything with rockets.
WHO said Moonwalker? Seriously. I want names. I’ll hunt them down like wounded rabbits.
On topic: Hook on NES. Oh, the hilarity.
Double Dragon 5.
Rival Turf.
Brawl Brothers wasn’t as bad. If just felt like a chore to play through.
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. I feel kinda sorry for asking my brother to get it for me that one Christmas.
Superman 64. I don’t think I need to say why.

This game is at least the worst game of this generation.
Vampire Rain… That game deserves a stake to the heart, garlic shoved in its eyes and a crucifix impaled up its arse.
Even then I’m not sure that would be enough of a punishment for that abomination.

cyborg justice. i was SOOOO excited about this game, spent months looking forward to building my own awesome robot and playing the game. but it was utterly poo. i was pretty crushed.
runners up would be chakan the forever man on the game gear, and total recall on the nes
Sho 'Nuff, I liked your post because your name is bad ass and your avatar is bad ass. You’re awesome man! I was rooting for you when you was fighting bruce leeroy.
cyborg justice was baller as fuck.
That game had an amazing soundtrack.
Took your word for it and checked it out myself.
The music isn’t “amazing”, but it’s above average for video standards, that’s for sure (especially for a sonic game).
I think I was more surprised that the music was coming from a sonic game with the title “The Black Knight” in it.
Music feels like it fits in a J-RPG, not saying I would play a Sonic RPG (oh, fuck no).
Also, on this topic, I’m trippin’ out at the age group of people listing there opinions on games here.
Maybe it was just me, but as a kid I couldn’t really afford games. All I did was rent whatever game and did this like every other week. Sometimes I would find a game, save up, and buy it (but this prevented me from not renting a game for a month). That, or just visit a friends house and hope they got xxx game.
Only reason I bring that up is because I was never hyped or excited about “upcoming games”. If a friend of mine had it, we just played it. Sometimes we’d buy it because it had fancy advertisements all over the place, or sometimes friends would just buy a random game off the shelf, hope it was good. Never did I thought “OMG I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!” but more like “what’s available and is it good?”
Worse memory of all this was my mom wanted to buy me a game.
I saw Street of Rage 1 and I was like “oh, that looks coo. Gimmie dat!” and it was sold out so she got me Shaq Fu instead.
Damn, I would’ve waited too…
Last time I played, I cleared each of Big’s levels in like a minute each. They were harder the first time I played, but I still didn’t remember where to go to find Froggy or anything. It took me 30 minutes to clear Death Chamber in SA2 the first and last time I played it. I’ll take Big over Knuckles any day.
It’s not that bad, although I personally had some trouble getting into it. I’m not really a big RPG fan though.
I just remembered two of my least favorite games. Space Giraffe on XBLA and Rushing Punch on XBLIG. Space Giraffe is a pretentious Tempest ripoff that makes your eyes bleed. Rushing Punch is just this:

If I’m not mistaken, the kick is actually an infinite juggle if you keep doing it. Also they named the main character Haggar, just because they hate you.
Dammit, you guys are making me want to go play Moonwalker again.
Oh god Sho’nuff, you just reminded me of MK vs. DC. Certainly not on the level of gutter trash as some of the games listed here, but it deserves a small mention. I remember it was New Year’s Eve and I was going over to a friend’s house later to hang out and play video games with a group of people (what else?). They’re going to buy a new game while I’m out getting food and ask me what they should get. I tell them I don’t know, something fun. I go over later that night and see they bought MK vs. DCU. That was a very boring New Year’s Eve.
Perhaps most of my dislike towards it stems from expecting something else on a New Year’s night. Maybe it isn’t that bad of a game. But that was disappointment of the previous year for me.
Holy shit, it’s real?!?!?!?
Iggy’s Recking Ball

Well this thread is dead, it went from pretty ok stuff to people naming good games and not liking them because they don’t understand how to differentiate a personal opinion from a professional overview. Also dat wish listing with no comments about why it was added.
C’mon…on this site, you should have known that a thread like this was troll bait in the first place.
The “people naming good games that they dislike” thing was there on page 1. Earthbound, for one. I guess I’ll give my reasoning for MKvDC and say that the controls felt very clunky and the story was godawful while trying to actually be a story. But I’m adding to the problem. So I’ll stop there.
Anyone got any games that are not only bad, but are nigh-unplayable/not playable at all? That’s the kind of thing we should be discussing, in my opinion.
Every thread on New SRK is bait.
