Worst (Tiers) Character in a Fighting Game?

Want to know a character so bad even bodler won’t chose it?
Lucky Glauber
But, people still pick him…

More joke characters should be like Doronjo and Joe Higashi, funny but not lacking a ton of tools.

MvC2 Roll is worse.
there’s random infinites that only work on her because of her weight and size. Bot’s got the same weight, but his size prevents such infinites.
Also… Ironman can’t actually hurt him… I don’t mean to say that Servbot beats Ironman, but IM has a harder time against Servbot than he does Magneto at times. The only reason Magneto wins more than Servbot would is because Mag’s got that RTSD factor. Ironman needs to work to get a hit on a Servbot. He only needs to work to get a hit on a good Magneto.

Blazblue CS1 Rachel.

GG’s

I might be to late for the Twelve chat but he has 1 redeeming quality. He is a kick-ass DJ !

Stun in Bloody Roar 2, surprise surprise hes a fucking grappler.

BETCHA DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING!!!

Since when is Joe a joke character? He’s serious business! In Fatal Fury anyways.

Joe’s always struck me as a comedy relief character, ever seen his endings and like everything he does?

What about Link from SCII. Everyone loves him to death but don’t know that he is sharing a tier ranking with Yunsung. But tiers really don’t seem to matter in SCII from what I can tell. They never do

Joe’s just a comic relief, but still a joke character - just not the same kind that Dan is, where he’s a joke on Art of Fighter, taking Ryo and Robert and the worst aspects of each character, and putting him into one.

SC tiers are typically ranking charts, which aren’t tiers, and theory fighter.

Joe is funny but his kicks aren’t.

lol? The only common theory fighting I’ve seen is for console exclusives that were banned anyways in SC2 (Even so, they were pretty well figured out), SC4 Algol to a small extent in the beginning since he wasn’t well understood, and a lot of shit in SC3… but that game was glitched to hell anyways (Mitsu 22B VC ad nauseum is a good example). I don’t remember tiers not being a thing either lol.

@Waffles775 Link is outright the worst character in the game. Yun has stuff like a usable low and some things that aren’t punishable so he’s a really shitty X, Link is just ass all around.

Everyone I ever talked to about SC2 was like this…

"X is top tier, Cervantes is high on ranking charts, neither win tournaments"
I do remmeber seeing a lot of Nightmare, Ivy, and Mitsurugi though. I was never competitve at the game though, so I’m really going by what the… 3-4 people that went to CTF said? It seemed like nobody in NYC really cared about Soul Calibur.

Don’t forget Yuri too in the form of some of her taunts and win poses.

Pichu in melee

Ironically, the Joker…since that’s all he is in Injustice anyway…

I don’t follow Injustice, but wasn’t he god tier or something in the early versions?

Juli in Alpha 3. She’s basically a worse Cammy and Cammy wasn’t that good in that game to begin with.

I recall that V-Cammy was mid tier or so in A3. Not good, but not bad either.

But yeah, V-Juli was definitely bottom of the heap. Then again, both dolls always felt like incomplete characters to me.

Actually I would say Juni is more of a complete character. Juli honestly feels like a w.i.p character that they put in at the last minute, but I think that they put in more effort with Juni because she has more special moves than Cammy. She has the usual cannon drill/spike/strike and HC, but she also has a dash (Mach Slide) and a 360 grab which is notorious in V-ism (360’s can otg). She can actually do her cannon drill in the air and it tends to be more safe on block than on ground. V-Juni is also C- Tier and A-Juni is C+. I find it weird, however, that they put time to make these new moves and property changes for Juni but left Juli completely in the dust.
