Sagat v. Sagat. Everyone loses, especially the audience.
Also Rog v. Blanka is not even that bad. Maybe Rog has an advantage but it’s not a mismatch.

Fuck yeah. This match is fun for me, it teaches me to have a minimalist, on-point offense.
i honestly believe gief vs fuerte is 5-5
good fuertes will make bad giefs look free, but a good gief only has to do 3 good moves to win.
Cammy VS Gief, now thats a retarded mismatch :s
So have I my friend… so have I.
Balrog vs Blanka is just 6-4 or 5.5-4.5. Honestly, rog has an advantage over all the charge characters without a fireball because he has the safest offense that’s least reactable too.
Rog vs Blanka/Dictator/Honda is all about rog gaining a life advantage and sitting there with blanka, dictator and honda trying to be clever enough to start an unpredictable offense while avoiding jab dash punches. It’s all about 5.5-4.5 rog but not incredibly hard to overcome.
After west coast warzone tho, I honestly can’t say most people in the west are even qualified to give valid match-up advice seeing as how all the people everybody thot was good, didn’t do well (except for the 10+ year players).
Gief vs Cammy is probably 6-4 gief but not impossible by any means. Allen vs Viscant was a testament to that.
I agree, though I would give an advantage for Fuerte in this matchup (6-4), a good Fuerte is extremely hard for Gief to catch. Also, gief has a huge hitbox and very slow movements, making it harder to avoid fuerte’s mixups.
blanka wrecks fuerte
dhalsim vs. blanka sucks ass
akuma:gief is 6:4 not even that bad
A bad matchup is different from a mismatch, really.
Blanka vs Rog is clearly a bad matchup, but as most Blankas are abysmal, everything they do get countered, and the match seems impossible. Learning the bad matchups of one’s char goes a long way to prevent this (I won’t elaborate on the counterpick mentality).
Fei Long vs Sagat…
Guile vs. Blanka and Guile vs. Sagat are really brutal for me.
All the lists I’ve seen Blanka vs. Rog is 7-3. You guys don’t think that’s bad enough to call it a mismatch? Eh, I dunno. I’d love to see how Blanka’s are dealing with Rogs because I haven’t seen many with much success. I can deal with Sagat better then I can deal with Rog. Have you guys dealt with this match first hand? Or is it from what you’ve seen? Once Rog gets that a lead Blanka has no way of coming back if the Rog just holds db and jabs away. I understand that it may not be the worse mismatch in the game, but people are not even say it’s a mismatch lol.
This isn’t that bad at all. Just have to learn the matchup and figure out what stuffs him.
Sagat vs Vega
Zangief vs Seth
Balrog vs Blanka
I haven’t looked through this topic, but how it can it NOT be one of these?
probably a 4-6, but Blanka is not near impossible to cook.
One of Blanka’s best assets is the ball. It becomes a baiting game and mixup heavy match if you expect to win against Rog. I always go Zangief or Guile against Rog. Seth vs Zangief is just stupid.
this just isnt true.
Someone mentioned Viper vs. Gief, and that matchup is quite playable. It’s just that you can’t rely on burning kick crossups and shenanigans most of the time and you have to stick to playing well with Seismo. Her main problem here isn’t even Lariat taking out the BK. It’s the life difference, like Arturo said. Gief can just take hits all the time and it doesn’t matter too much because he has the highest life setting in the game.
Viper vs. Honda is harder. She has such a hard time when Honda spaces with jump up fierce. Most you can do is try to Uryo your way into an ultra or try to smack the whiff with an EX Seismo, but that has to be timed and if you miss, you waste EXTREMELY valuable meter on this match. The life difference here is just as obvious as in the Gief matchup, except that Honda takes your life out very quickly. Low jab into hands into RH doesn’t look like much on a lot of matchups, but vs. Viper it’s ridiculous, and let’s not even get into low jabs xx hands xx super. Shit is ridiculous. I still can’t find a successful way around a lot of Honda’s stuff, and I’m playing against Eduardo’s Honda, so it’s not like I don’t know what’s going on. It’s also really hard to time BK crossups so that Honda’s EX Headbutt will whiff giving you a free fierce Seismo.
Viper vs. Bison (Dictator) still confuses me a bit. I don’t have as much experience in the matchup, but I do know that Bison can’t do his runaway stuff with Devil’s Reverse because you can smack him fullscreen with a fierce Seismo, strong Seismo if he lingers close, or if you have an EX and he goes fullscreen, a well timed EX Thunder Knuckle gets to him, and you can tack on a c. fierce into another EX or just dash up ultra afterward. However, once Viper hits the corner, she has to try desperately to get out. It’s really hard to time an EX Seismo in order for it to bypass the second hit of short scissor kick. She has a hard time dealing with him after them on block due to her slower normals.
