Daimon is damn retarded for no good reason. Great range, AA grab, OTG grab in addition to his ground command grabs, command roll and unblockable glitches. SFIV Gief looks like SFIV Vega compared to 98 Daimon.

Daimon was pretty damn good, I’ll give him that much, but some characters gave him trouble (Iori, Chris, etc.)

2k3 was the worst so far. I remember being so disappointed when it came out. I was not a fan on how the game felt or played. After playing KOF XI and then going back it’s a bit better but still the worst in my books.
Also I was once told by another player that was referring to the console ports that, “KOF '99 is aids successfully written to a CD”. Now be that as it may, I still kinda like the game. Even with it’s flaws and new striker concept I was able to somehow enjoy playing it. If I was ever asked to play it, I wouldn’t turn down the offer but I would agree that it’s one of the worst. I just have more fun playing other KOF’s.

the original SNK closed in Fall 2001, last game they produced was KOF2000. They lost many of their talnted employees after closing in fall2001.
kof94 to 2000 are great!!! (BEST KOFs with BEST soundtrak OST & AST)
about KOF99 the ps2 version(even in neo geo mode in nest collection) and dreamcast are shitty comparing to neo goe versions. even the gameplay slower than the neo geo 1
the OST for 99 was great!!
2000 wasn’t balance but was really fun u need to know how to avoid strikers by recovery (A+B), jumping…etc
2001 is very bad, music, graphic, gameplay, it was a mess, i can’t find anything good about that game, and Angel, what the crap, they let a hooker get on kof rosters now?
Kof94 had team system and dodge systems, new thing to the world.
Kof95 had team edit, max energy counter, plus nice intro, and it felt like ss2 brother back then.
Kof96 had refreshing music, presentation and speed, game play was way different from 95, like a new game.
Kof97 was the ultimate casual play, broken but a lot of fun, intro char drawings were terrible but in game was nice.
Kof98 has the best game play, roster and presentation, too classic.
KOF99, a new direction of game play but a lot of broken things, liked the striker system, felt rushed.
KOF2000, another casual game, i think they free up the striker system too much.
KOF2001, mugen game, people who got salaries from making this game should be shot.
KOF2002, doesn’t have the KoF feel any more, that feel ended with kof2000, gameplay was solid tho, breeded a lot of hopping dummies too.
KoF2003, control doesn’t make any sense, and you feel like you are hitting cotton balls, at least the leader idea was refreshing.
generally i felt the tactical aspect is getting lost with kof.
then the last two games I haven’t played much so can’t comment.
2003 are by far the worst KoF game not even that fun to play.
2001 was playable to a degree but it wasnt that great.
All MI KoF’s were grabbage too.
