I have spotted it, but what’s with the Hulk tie-in issue with Hercules? I only skimmed through it at the comics store, and it looks like they’re going to be buds or something…wtf?
Because…Hulk would need support, maybe? It’s pretty self explantory in the latest issue. It’s gonna be hero vs. hero again. Just better.

When Hercules was part of the Champions (alongside Ghost Rider, the Widow, Iceman, and Angel), they encountered the Hulk this one time. They attacked the Hulk but he was just trying to take his cousin (She-Hulk) to the hospital. After the heroes sorted out the misunderstanding, Hercules and the other Defenders vowed they would one day try to make amends and help the Hulk if he ever needed help. This incident took place in Giant-Size Hulk.

I haven’t read the Ghost Rider tie in (even though a poster here said that it kinda sucked). What happened in that one? (i know I ask a lot of questions, but I don’t wanna be shelling out money like a nut unless it’s for a computer upgrade…)

Right now, I’m thinking he’s most likely responsible for sending Hulk of-course to Sakaar (knowing that there was a nuke on board that will kill everyone else).
Can’t think of possible motives other than outsmarting Mr. Fantastic and Ironman though. Maybe he’s tring to move up from that 7th smartest ranking.
It would be creative to make the Asian guy the bad guy, wouldn’t it? Your logic makes sense to me, Shengy. Cho’s motivation is to be smarter and to move up in life. Very realistic and believable.
Took the words from under my fingertips. As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing that Marvel can offer creatively anymore in its trademark character series other than continuing to push the envelope on magnitude of destruction and permanent damage (not likely). Which is cool. I mean, I was a sucker for DBZ in all of its Whoa-This-Dude-Just-Raped-The-Guy-We-All-Thought-Was-The-Strongest-EverWhich-Makes-HIM-the-New-UBERBADASS style of storytelling. But I’m beginning to see Civil War-esque signs of plot-crafting here, and I don’t like it. I can kinda see the purpose of the Cho kid. But fuck the champions and their puny ass human shit. Hulk already has an entourage, the bigger it gets, the more Civil War the story gets, mark my words. All I wanna see is massive, epic, Hulk-Smashage with long-lasting or even permanent repercussions (e.g. death of major characters, but it’s Marvel, who am I kidding). So until that stops, I’m along for the ride… however reservedly… because the black bolt ownage really was pretty damn awesome.
btw, to those debating wolvie’s capacity for healing in the fight he got torn in half: that takes place in the Ultimate universe, not 616. so his shit is at the peak of its game, as far as we’re supposed to be concerned as the audience. which works for me, so long as it allows for magnificent beasting of epic proportions to occur. there, case closed.
So yeah…why would Hercules and Angel do anything but team up with the Xmen/Avengers to try and kill Hulk? I mean, Hulk’s gonna kill everyone. Why would Angel and Herc team up with him? That just seems lame in itself.
But we know we’re gonna end up seeing a one-on-one rematch of the Hulk and Wolverine from 1974. Which’ll end up with some silly example of the power of Wolverine’s healing.

Well when Hulk was trying to get his cousin to the hospital for the blood tranfusion from an earlier comic arc, Hercules,Angel,and some other people attacked the hulk. When they found out what he was really doing Hercules said that he would help the Hulk hence why him and Angel are in league with the Hulk.

This makes so much sense, it’s not even funny. If anybody here reads Illuminati(Bendis writes this), they WERE on the Skrull homeworld. And they WERE taken captive for a minute. Lord knows what could have happened after they escaped. I forget which happened first though, them on the Skrull’s home planet or the Infinity Gauntlet gem search. Because if the Skrull issue happened after, then it’s possible for the Skrulls to have gone after them.
Holy shit, could Marvel actually be building up to something EVEN bigger? The more I think about it, the more juicey it sounds.
