Right now he is REALLY mad, at basically everyone, so it’s GGPO for the marvel universe.
Remember that time during secret wars that he held up like a 50 billion ton mountain range with just Reed making jokes about how he is a loser?
First they launch him off planet earth, he’s enslaved, he conquers enslavement, finally gets a life he enjoys after WHO knows how long, and then has that life blown up by the very same people who launched him off earth.
I’d think he’s at least 300 times more mad then when Reed was making stupid jokes, so Black Bolt getting his shit kicked in isn’t surprising.
This is like the first story marvels written in a long ass time that’s actually MADE sense.
They will figure out some way to fuck it up though.
yea I picked up the Planet Hulk HC trade and that storyline was dope, I normally dont like the Hulk, but this one has me hooked and I look forward the World War Hulk, I just hope they dont mess up the story like they have done so many times in the past :bluu:
I hate the bullshit marvel regeneration abilities of low end heroes like wolverine. I also hate the stupid hulk owns all when angry stuff but this series is one of the better reads I’ve had in some time. A great storyline for sure. I’m reading Civil War right now (about half way thru NO SPOILERS PLEASE) and its definatley the inferior story line. Basically earthbound stories aren’t my gig anyway I’m way more of a cosmic guy.
Keep in mind that the madder Hulk gets, the more laws of the universe he breaks.
After Jean Grey “unlocked” his mind during Onslaught, he punched Onslaught so hard he opened a cosmic rift and destroyed Onslaught’s physical nature.
The Hulk has been beaten, and I’m pretty sure if you rushed him down quick enough before he got mad enough you could knock him out, but all they keep doing is finding ways to piss him off, and therefore make him even more broken.
I can’t wait to watch him stomp everyone else into the ground.

Can’t say I’ve read every Hulk comic out there or even close to it but are you sure you’re not confusing Hulk with Superboy Prime who punched a hole through Reality? Um… yeah he actually did that…
I know about that Superboy Prime crap (Prime has waaaay too many issues…he needs a good dicking to set em straight)
I dunno, but from a website showing off the stuff Hulk can do, I could’ve sworn I saw little part about when he got so pissed off, he managed to punch through time n such. Don’t know what brought that on, but good grief.
Haha, the Daniel Way hate. Not that I can muster anything in his defense. His two issues on Spider-Man’s Tangled Web were the series lowlight that fucked up perfection.
Punisher Vs. Bullseye was weak, and Wolverine: Origins is boring as well. Both of those just go to show that Steve Dillon’s art ain’t that great when the story is ass.
I doubt I shall ever bother reading his take on Ghost Rider.
Read issue 1 of WWH last week. Wow is the Hulk ever ticked off. Black Bolt ended up looking like a scrub all bloody like that when Hulk was telling everyone what would happen if he didn’t get Mr. Fantastic, Strange, and Iron Man. Fight between Hulk and Iron Man was great stuff.
Read the first issue of Iron Man that ties into WWH. I just didn’t really care for it. I think I’ll be able to enjoy WWH just fine sticking with the core WWH comics.

Why didn’t Hulk kill Black Bolt and Iron Man? He owned them completely and previously said he would kill them. So the only reason I can see him not killing them then and there is because the writers don’t want them dead so they can rematch Hulk later. Which is bad writing IMO.
Also, it’d be interesting if Xavier says that he would’ve been against sending the Hulk away and Hulk believes him. But since Hulk has a Brood friend and the X-Men would surely help defend then I doubt it.
