The Skrulls have the power to copy all of the Illuminati’s powers?
Bendis said in Wizard that Dr. Strange was too hard for a Skrull to copy because of his awesome magical powers and probably not worth the effort.
JQ has said before on Newsarama that they will not make Iron Man a Skrull. They are not going to make a cop out and say that he was bugging out because he was a Skrull in Civil War to cheapen the storyline.
Still anything is possible and people change their minds, exagerate the truth, lie, etc - but all of the Illuminati being Skrulls is unlikely IMHO…
My money’s on Namor since he rules Atlantis - there you go, Skrulls have Ninjas with the Hand and Fish People for them to command MWAHAHAHA! Black Bolt maybe for the same reason, but I lean more towards Namor because he’s always bitching about something, plus he’s gone from teaming up with Doom to teaming up with the Fantastic Four - I dunno man something about him seems fishy and no I could not resist making that stupid ass pun. 
So the skrulls are a group of alines or villains that can copy people?

I mean, I see your point, it can still be a con / Bendis screwing with us. But a Skrull as the most powerful magician on Earth is very hard to swallow. I don’t know what kind of technology Skrulls would use to fake beating up on Demon Gods now…
Course like everything it would all depend on when the switch happened. It would clear up Doc Strange saying “There’s no Chaos magic!” though, lying Skrull!

Iron Man is just a man in a suit… Regardless of what maybe a skrull did manage to copy Tony Stark.
And Dr. Strange… Maybe mind control? Hey they did manage to experiment on the whole illuminati… even with all the failsafe magic Dr. Strange has.
If you have been reading the latest comics, the skrulls have been upgraded quite abit. They’re undetectable, can shapeshift much more than before(Read Annihilation they fucking turned to a forest), they can gain powers(I.E. Super Skrull, Paibok, Tittanius, that young avenger gay dude, and that Runaway hermaphrodite dyke).
It’s entire possible… or maybe this is still a big plot from House of M.
Then we’ll see Hulk kill all of the Illuminatti members, then only to discover that they were all Skrulls.

I think I read in a Wizard interview that they said that copying Dr. Strange is difficult due to the magnitude of his powers. That and having no concept for where there power really comes from. I think most of the uber big powerhouses are too hard to copy, especially the magic ones. With Thor back and all, I think things just got a lot more interesting as he, like the Hulk, is going to be pretty pissed about everything that happened. I wonder if he gets to keep the Odinforce.
Stark being a Skrull would explain a lot, but the Skrulls would be seriously fucked if all of Earth found out they killed Captain America.

You know what would be a stupid way to bring back Cap… If they made the dead Captain America into a skrull.
They can’t do that because once a Skrull dies they revert back to being a Skrull, like what happened with Skrullektra and Skrullverine a few years back. Cap didn’t do that and they already had the autopsy where they would of found out if he was a Skrull.
Brubaker’s really adamant on Cap not coming back to life, so I kind of think Steve’s gonna remain dead at the very least until Bru leaves the book. Then again, Morrison was adamant about not using Magneto during his X-Men run sooo… :wgrin:

John Walker / USAgent got fired from the job as Cap because he killed someone oh noos… he’s still bitter about that, makes him funny. In that Daily Bugle Civil War special he called Captain America a traitor and said he died like a pansy, something like that.
