by the way, after losing to luffy daigo went with Eita and Fuudo alone and practiced in training mode for almost 2 hours to see how to counter Rose’s stuff. After that, he literally trashed luffy in free play…like he didn’t lose a single round any more.
Also Eita losing to LordDVD was because Eita didn’t know it was actually a tournament match, he tought it was just free play. After that they did a ft10 and guess what, 10-0 for Eita.

news flash-top players are top players. major tournament finalists will find a way to get there no matter what character they pick. so dont think for a second that just because a 6-4 or 7-3 becomes 4-6 or 5-5 that they will suddenly start losing. theres a reason for seeing the same names at the end of the day, and it has nothing to do with character select
So that means the Daigo doesn’t know console characters argument is valid? Since Luffy’s rose can’t beat Daigo’s Ryu anymore after like he learns all rose’s stuff.

Miles better is a bit of an overstatement. Alioune edges it, would perhaps be a better comparison. ALioune has better zoning and kara setups than Ryan, but Ryans mind games are really something.
About Daigo vs Ryan, at Evo Ryan won a money match against him and here he won in the comp too. I don’t imagine Ryan worries too much about what Daigo or anyone says tbh - the names of people he’s beaten on his record do the talking for him.
