Could anyone share some tips on doing rapid Seismos down on the P1 side? My biggest issue is the fact that I don’t input the TK fireball right, often missing a certain input (down forward for example).
“From there i move to :d::df::f::uf:+:atk:” I can’t get that down. Any help would be appreciated.
It takes alot of practice, I got frustrated and stop trying them and went to work on my Viper movement, then came back now I can get 4 off on the 1p side consistently and 2 on the 2p side. What I would suggest is that you have to let the ball-top do the work for you. The ball-top allows you to get the motions, I recall Marlinpie saying on his stream it’s “Tk,Dp,Tk,Dp,Tk,Dp,Tk”
I need to learn how to let the stick do the work, for some reason it’s a lot of effort for me to do a TK fireball. Thanks for your advice, it was most appreciated.
I’ve been getting such weird ass inputs. Every like 1-1000 FADC Seismos I’ll get a 3 button XFactor. It’s not me accidentally hitting an extra button either, I always keep input display on.
its probably a plink. The inputs are different in this game to SF4 sometimes. Just slow down your inputs you have about 4-6 frames to FA into DC. I really haven’t X-factored from it in a long time. Practice just tapping FA and then let go immediately and press your dash. you will see how much leniency you can get with it. FA won’t release right away for some reason.
re: 3 button X-factor…I am not entirely sure but i can offer one assumption (correct me if im wrong)…notice when you’re playing on pad, you can xfactor with R2 + S which is essentially Dash (2 buttons) + S…Like someone mentioned, you could be plinking the 3 button button too fast causing the xfactor to come out.
You can get this input without the H showing in the input display. I tried it and got it a few times exactly how yours looks pisko. Just faulty input display in this game
In fact one time i was able to get only two launcher buttons to show and x-factor activate
Sorry if it’s a common question, but… I can’t really get FADC-ing seismos. Isn’t it just feinting? Like the BK feints? @_@ I can cancel focus into seismo just fine, but I don’t get how FADC is different from feinting.
the difference is that fadc seismos arnt feinting ur useing the fact that seismo is jump cancelable to go into focus ,
its like this
seismo
2.cancel the seismo into a jump
3.in the start up frames of the jump hold for focus
when the focus activates impute your dash
the good and main diference between feinting and fadcing is that even feints have startup and recovery but when u fadc your going back to a nutral or dashing stance or animation this way your much safer and can do anything from making more aressive pressure to backing off to going in while makeing your opp not have many option by keeping them in block stun . hope this helps!
Not basic stuff, I actually play this character lol. I want to know why like TK SJ L Burn Kick can be combo’d off of on the ground but not SJ L Burn Kick alone, why H Thunder Knuckle->TK SJ H Burn Kick can be combo’d after but not stuff like L Seismo SJ j.H H Burn Kick unless I use meter, etc.
I believe its a frame data thing i was wondering this myself a couple months ago, its all just the startup and recovery of the burnkicks. When on the ground is the best because its got the shortest recovery and gives a big pop its also -1 on block whilst the m and l are like -5 -10 or something so it gives you an idea of how much better and different combo options.
In the air though its the other way around the L bk is the best its got like 12f recovery whilst the other ones are -15 and 22/17 thereabouts sooo i think depending on how high the opponent is with the air burnkicks you get different combo options im not 100% sure as im going from memory but hope i helped ya
Ok, so after much practice with this character, I’ve been wondering a few things about Ms. Viper:
FADC Seismo chain vs Rapid Seismos: Which would work better for constant pressure?
Charge glitch use with Optic Laser: Is it possible to use this with FADC Seismo?
(Pad player question) Rapid Seismo’s on the P2 side: What would be a good way to practice this as it feels so awkward and I, myself, have trouble chaining more than 3 together at a time. I know an argument can be made that you don’t need to do many consecutively, however, if I’ve caught an assist and have an opportunity to punish…those hurt big time.
Lastly-This is something that really concerns me as I’m running an Viper, Doom, Tony team…I CANT FIND THE PROPER SYNERGETIC ATTIRE!!! This is unacceptable and I must look good while I’m putting in work so I request help with this suggestions.
I was messing around with using seismo FADC plus laser charge in the neutral and I found a way to do it with dashing on the stick. I’ll post up a vid of some quick shit I’m doing in training mode.
